This might not be popular here but I would believe the OPK. I know the TTC internet world is obsessed with temping and technically OPKs only confirm the LH surge and not ovulation but according to my RE OPKs are much more reliable (fewer variables to control) and it’s pretty rare to get a positive OPK surge and not ovulate. So if in general OPKs work for you (ie: you don’t go for weeks and weeks with positive results, or never see a positive over several cycles of use) I think that is likely to be more accurate.

That’s generally my line of thinking - I didn’t think the OPK would be positive unless it legitimately detected the LH surge.
I’ll test again tomorrow and see if I get a peak result.
Technically it’s possible that you could get the surge and not ovulate (at all, or surge again to ovulate later on) but that’s not the most likely explanation I dont think. I hope you get a real positive soon!
I agree with seeyalater52. I would trust the OPK over BBT. Have you tried taking OPKs at different times of he day? I’ve found that I will never get a clearly +OPK with FMU, even when I’m actively ovulating. When I changed the time of day I did mine, I started getting more accurate results.

My RE recommends 2nd morning urine with a 3 hour hold, which for me is usually around 10am. I had good results with this. She said sometimes the highly concentrated FMU threw off the test.

Typically I do 2MU. But I also drink water like it’s going out of style (110ish ounces a day) so I don’t know if that’s messing up the results.
You might want to try no water between FMU and SMU. That could be diluting your peak result into a high result.

I've also read that drinking a lot of water can dilute it. This month I started testing at night as well once I hit high fertility so I was able to catch the peak sooner.
Today I took an OPK with 2MU and still got a high reading. So I waited an hour or so and opened a new package I had and took another test with a new monitor - which gave me a low fertility blank circle.
So basically I have no clue. I’ll take another tomorrow, but I’m also seeing the new gyn. I hope the doc can tell me if I ovulated.
How is your BBT? Is it a really clear, consistent rise or is it jumping around?
