Yesterday I went to pick up my costumes at the tailor and he hadn't even started on them yet. The woman who was in the shop was freaked out, called him, and then when I was on my way to private practice he called me to come get the costume I needed for today, didn't understand what I was saying about it all, kept telling me to relax when I got there. Well, the alteration is fucked up. Because of how/where he sewed one strap, it's pulling funny and causing bunching. Plus somehow it's still too loose. The other strap is too tight. I have to go in Wednesday for the other costume (rage) and I'm nervous he'll fuck that one up. I'm going to insist that he fix the tap costume, but I don't have any time for that until after dress rehearsal, since I get off work at 4, have an ~20 minute drive home, and need to be in the theater for dress rehearsal (15 min away) at 5:45. Ugh.

I went to my first yoga class in a studio in a longgggggg time. Holy h*ll, I have not sweat that much in forever. My mat was like a slip and slide, hahahaha. I really enjoyed it though. Given my knee is still not 100%, I may go to more classes in the meantime.

Oh no, how frustrating, tiramisu! I hope he can fix it and that the other one isn't messed up! I just got a costume in the mail for a show this weekend, so I'm going to practice in it for the first time tonight. I haven't tried it on yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I also haven't practiced in about a month, so I'm booked for an hour of solid rehearsal tonight to fix that....
I keep forgetting that today is only Tuesday; feels more like a Thursday.
I think things are starting to improve at work. I’m devoting most of my energy there because I can’t figure out how to effectively help my parents right now. Makes me sad.
I’m heading home after DD and I toured two more colleges. I fell in love with one so I’m biting my tongue while she decides where she wants to go. She’s currently driving and we’re singing (loudly) to Disney songs and talking about random things. I just love the person she’s become and spending time with her. And I hate that she’ll be moving a few hours away soon.
I should show you ladies a photo, but I'm on the mobile site and it's a PITA to upload. Hopefully safety pins will fix it well enough to not look like an idiot in the photos we're taking tonight.
When I called him, he kept saying "don't worry" but finally shut the fuck up after I told him this was the first domino to fall and it adds a lot of stress in an already stressful week.
It's definitely fixable, I know exactly what he needs to do. If I could sew, I'd do it myself.
