Hey friends, what's on everyone's agendas for the weekend??

I'm probably grabbing a drink with a coworker tonight and then putting together my new bed I had shipped to me. I'm hoping the mattress shows up tonight so I can sleep on it soon!!

Tomorrow I'm volunteering a pride thing and then will hopefully get the rest of my shutters painted and put back up. Sunday is seeing Koo Koo Kangaroo with friends. I'm stupidly excited about this!

Rest. I need rest. I am getting so nervous and excited about the wedding I've had terrible insomnia the last few nights.

We need to do a few last minute wedding related errands but other than that, I don't have much planned.

We made it! It's Friday! And it's the only Friday this month that I'm in the office!

Not much going on tonight. I'm performing in two shows tomorrow and then going to an after-party at the house of one of the other performers. Sunday, I will probably do some work, but mostly lay low. I am going to a wine and yoga class Sunday evening that I'm looking forward to, though! And Monday will be almost an extension of the weekend--while I work in the morning, I'm going to a local conference all afternoon, which should be interesting and a good change of pace.

OMG bullygirl979 it's almost here! That's exciting! I'm sorry about the insomnia though.


Tonight I have a date. He's the same age as me and works in the same general field as me, although he's a psychiatrist. We're meeting for coffee/tea which I think is a good first date, not too much pressure.

Tomorrow my whole focus will be my jazz recital. I may go out afterwards with any friends who come to watch and work my classmates, but I can't stay out too late because I need to get up early on Sunday to get ready for my tap recital. My parents are coming down for that one. Sunday after everything is done and my parents have headed home, I need to do laundry and also wash my hair with clarifying shampoo, use a deep conditioner, and apply a face mask to recover from all the hairspray and makeup my body has been and will be subjected to.

Good Luck on your performances tiramisu and udscoobychick! I hope you enjoy the visit with your parents, Tiramisu. It’s great that they’re coming down and will see your recital.

I don’t have much planned for tonight. I will probably try to get some errands done so that I don’t have to worry about them tomorrow.
I think that H and I might end up going out tomorrow night for a belated anniversary dinner.
On Sunday morning I’ll be going to the farmers market and then meeting a friend for lunch after their class. Should be a good weekend, and the weather is supposed to be very nice. Finally!

Not much going on this weekend.

I’m meeting a friend for a gossipy lunch tomorrow and will need to do the regular grocery shopping, but other than that no actual plans.

I’m reading a book, so I’d like to finish that this weekend. I think it’s supposed to be hot and humid, so that means I’ll be staying inside as much as possible.
