I was a lifeguard at a major Texas water park. You are very right. Some things can definitely not be unseen. I’m scarred for life. Lol.
Sincerely, Still shuddering
Dear Adam Levine,
I love you. First bc you are hot and have a great voice. And secondly bc you started your concert on time and didn’t keep me out too late on a Tuesday.
Love When you get done with that super model you are married to you call me
I hope your summer vacation, and the rest of your life, goes exactly the way that you made my DD's year go. That is my wish for you. Oh, and that your a$$ gets fired, but I know that will never happen with this sh!tty administration and your tenure. Oh well. A girl can dream.

Dear DS, Let's go back to having fun and you being a loving little boy towards me and your dad or I'll tell your grandma that she should just let your cousins go to their own house after school next year and not to her house. Love, your mama who hopes this is just a phase and we haven't royally screwed up as parents
Dear Bro, I'm glad you've taken an actual week off of work for spend time with your wife and baby. You were supposed to be taking care of them, which does not consist of playing xbox while your wife washes bottles and you MIL holds your baby. Or suggesting your wife hunts for an extension cord in your barn. I'm not married to you though so I'll drop it. Love, your sister who is thankful you found a wife who adores you
Dear MIL, I get it. This is a sucky situation. But you need to plunk yourself in the office of the rehab facility and fight for your mother! You are the most painfully passive person I know when it comes to doctors and this is going to be hard. But your mother will not survive if they send her home, alone, with no one to care for her. I know that you cannot be the one to move in and care for her, given the extenuating circumstances and timing of it. So you need to fight the battle on her behalf. I can't listen to your worries and complaints if you don't fight like hell for a better solution. Signed, Worried DIL
Dear insurance, You suck. I hate you. How can you deny coverage and kick an old lady out like this? It's disgusting. Signed, Horrified
Dear DH, I really, really hope your grandma lasts until we get back from vacation. That makes me a terrible person, I know. But between her, and the new nephew being born, and all the chaos of the next couple weeks, I know you're on the same page as me. This sucks. Love, Me
twinmomma, condolences and thoughts My grandma is going through the same shit. Enters hospital, hospital sends her home once stable as her Medicare won't cover nursing home care and she can't pay cash. She can't walk and lives alone. My Aunt took her to the Dr yesterday where she fell asleep 3 times while talking to him and peed herself. He told her she no longer could live alone or drive and wrote a note stating it. My Aunt found an assisted living home in the area that is income based (all she has is SS) so her house got put on the market and her car was given back to the lender so she could move into this place ASAP. This shit has been going on for the last 2 years and is hard on my mom and her SIL. Also frustrated with insurance and elder care
Dear DD I know your head hurts between teething, allergies, and everything else I even don't feel good. But you have to go to school. Both today and tomorrow are party days. Go enjoy it before summer break boredom sets in. Mom
Dear 1st Grade Teacher I'm going to really miss you Mrs. J. Maybe you will reconsider and keep all your 37 monsters for 2nd grade and move up with them? Wishing for you again as you are AWESOME!

Dear coworker, I'm sad that today is your last day before you move. You've been a great coworker over the last 13 years. I've enjoyed a lot of laughs and have learned a lot from you. You are truly in the 1% of quality employees here and we will miss you. Signed, Keep in touch on IM.
Dear Neighbor, Thank you for spending 70K on your kitchen remodel and choosing an oven that only comes in a package - the deal we got on the Monogram dishwasher, and having a new dishwasher at all, is so far the best thing to happen this summer. It’s running and I am standing in front of it and I can’t hear it. Madness! And I never knew I wanted lights in a dishwasher, but OMG I can’t believe we lived without them.
Happy neighbor
Dear DS and DD, We have NO PLANS tonight. I cannot wait to watch a movie all cuddled up and relax with you guys. Please be good so we can enjoy an evening of nothing but downtime because it’s the only one we are going to get in the next 10 days with just the three of us, and one of only two evenings at home in the next two weeks.

Dear weather,
Go home, I think you're drunk. This is MI, not the South, so you can go ahead and keep your 90+ degree weather. I am not looking forward to another baseball tournament in 90+ degree heat. Please let the third baseball tournament have nice 75 degree temps.
Sincerely, I'm sorry for complaining about winter going through mid-April
Dear High School Development Team, I am trying to give you my money. Why are you making this so difficult? And why can’t you embrace basic technology?
DH and I both attended the same high school, and I thought it would be a nice Fathers Day present to purchase a commemorative brick in the new courtyard under construction. You sent out an email about this, but your instructions are only for printing out and mailing the form with a check, or calling to give credit card info. And your pdf form isn’t even set up correctly for me to type in. I’ve spent several days playing phone tag trying to give my cc info and figure out if I can email this form to someone. This shouldn’t be that hard.
Dear child, Sorry for telling you that you can't go to first grade if we don't find the missing library book that actually wasn't missing... I didn't realize that would freak you out as much as it did. I thought you were just being lazy and didn't want to look for it. Turns out, the librarian was wrong and the book wasn't missing. No wonder you were having a meltdown. My bad. Signed, Mom fail
saraml13, Stuff like that makes me so mad! We tried to reach out to our high school to set up a scholarship in memory of a classmate who passed away recently. The school literally never responded. 3 months later they reached back out and said "Someone helped you with that right?" When I told them no one had reached out so we just made a donation to a charity in her memory, the school's response was just "Oh, Ok. Sorry for your loss." What?! You just lost out on a bunch of money to help a student, because we couldn't keep chasing a nonexistent scholarship program!
Dear School After yesterday I don't want to volunteer anymore. Being put in charge when I had no clue and hadn't done it before and then getting people annoyed at how I did. Handing out popsicles and being screamed at by another parent because her snotty kid was being demanding and rude. All I did was say the same thing the teachers told me before and she jumped all down my throat for threatening and being mean to her 5th grade kid because I wouldn't give her a red popsicle. Then when picking up everyone left and I was stuck putting all the crap away alone. I just felt really taken advantage of and it put me in a mood to not want to volunteer ever again. Cranky parent
DD I'm sorry you don't want today to be the last day of school but you can't skip it and go back next week. I will miss Mrs. J too. Mom PS Sorry your mouth hurts because your top 2 teeth are coming in. Just think corn on the cob is in your near future.
Dear work, It seems... unfair to transition an entire new role to my team, BEFORE we hire the person for that new role. I now have a laundry list of things to do, some of which are very large projects coming up very quickly, and I haven't even posted the new job online yet. I know the current team is swamped, and that's why the transition is happening. But... at least those people had it kind of built into their workload. And honestly, I assumed a lot of stuff was already taken care of and we'd just help with execution. Not so much. We're starting from scratch. Now my entire workload is doubled, PLUS I have to interview and on board the new person for my team. FML. Signed, Stunned Manager
I just sent you an email telling you to start talking to me about things you may need me for over my vacation. I also told you I will have no cell phone access. So seriously, guys, if you need stuff from me, let me know NOW. Not Thursday when I’m getting ready to leave and not return for 10 days.
mommyatty, This sounds like me to my payroll clients when I want to take 2 days off. Who knows what would happen if I actually took a full week off. Dreaming of vacation 186momx
