Has anyone else here been prescribed it while stimming? I did fine with the needles last night but I had a lot of trouble sleeping and an elevated heart rate and I think it was the prednisone. I really don’t want to keep taking it but it’s part of CNY’s autoimmune protocol (which there’s no reason to think I have other than repeated losses). Could be the low dose naltrexone too, I guess.
Not stimming but for 5 days between fertilization and transfer. My friend was on prednisone from stimming through first trimester for repeated losses (no other indications). It did work for her. Can you take the prednisone in the morning?
Yes, I have taken steroids starting day of retrieval (or for a few days before transfer in the case of FETs) and this time, I'm taking it starting day of transfer.
I've always taken it in the morning because it is activating. Every pharmacist recommends the same.

I'll be taking it with my next stim cycle, as I've just had my third chemical pregnancy of 2018 so we'll try an "immune light" approach to my next round. I've taken it before for rheumatoid arthritis flares and the jitters are annoying.
My dosage is supposed to be 10mg in the am from start of stims till BFP/BFN. What dosage has everyone else used?
I’m supposed to take it morning AND night but I hate it, so we’ll see what they say.
I'm also an NP (though I don't work in this field at all), but when I prescribe steroids twice per day, I recommend taking the first dose first thing in the AM and the second dose early afternoon to allow for sleeping at night. You could ask if they are ok with that timing? SaveSave
