We just redid our front yard with a new patio and drought tolerant landscaping (because we’re in SoCal and I got tired of dead or bad looking grass).
What color should I paint the front door?
Also, what kind of patio furniture should I get? I kind of like the idea of it being mostly open patio for kids to play, but I’d like at least a couple chairs. I want to balance cost/look/comfort/ the fact that it could get stolen pretty easily.

It looks great! I would do the front door either a dark coffee, white to match the trim, or black. But I like neutrals. We had a red door at our old house so I think I’m personally over it. Our neighbors had a blue that looked great but really stood out.
I’d do a little dinette set with a small table and 2 chairs or two colorful Adirondack chairs and a small table between. If you’re really worried about theft a porch swing may be really cool there and much harder to steal.
The dark color gets kind of lost, but we briefly had a white door when I was a kid and even I noticed how dirty it was. What about a grey to pick up the edging color? Brighten the space and tie landscaping to home? BTW I love that space!!
Thanks ladies! I want to stay away from super neutral since I feel like my house has way too much beige already. I like the idea of very dark gray/black or a bright color. I found these two pictures that I like...

I’d vote orange to pull out the color in the patio and the brick fireplace. I’d do a couple of big orange pots to tie it in more too. That’s what really catches my eye in the blue door photo.
With how shadowed your entry is, you could get away with a really bright or light color! I love Caribbean blue. And Target has blue Adirondack chairs that are plastic that are surprisingly comfy and sturdy as heck. Two of those with a little table between and two kid sized would be awesome.
I love my plastic Adirondack chairs. Sturdy, still look nice and super comfortable. We have ours around our fire pit. I vote a blue, teal or something that would pop.
I love the patio it looks amazing. I would go with a bright pop and I love blue anyways. Could you do table/chairs in the same color as the door to tie it together. I also worry about stuff getting stolen off my front yard (I've had small flower pots/hanging baskets walk off before) so everything is super big and very heavy LOL and no chairs (boo).
