I'm really excited it's the weekend, but there's not a ton of downtime, so I won't get to rest much. Tonight I'm heading to a cheese curd festival with my BFF and her family. I haven't seen her in a while, so it will be nice to catch up!
Tomorrow I'm having brunch with some of my prison ladies and then am bartending for a wedding. Sunday, I'm hoping to sleep in, but in reality I have a ton of errands to run and will need to clean my house since I haven't been home all week. I also have a lunch date scheduled with a new guy. I have low expectations going into it, lol!
The guy I had the really awesome date with has ghosted. He raved about our date, Sunday night and we were chatting like normal Monday and then nothing. I reached out Tuesday and it was a few responses but then it stopped and now crickets. I don't get it, but whatever.
After more than a week of being sick, I am finally feeling a bit better. Not 100%, but I've slept 8 hours for the past 2 nights (instead of 4ish), and that alone feels amazing. Now if only the pressure in my ears would go away, I'd be all set.
I'm packing tonight - it's another horse competition this weekend. This time we "only" have to travel 2 hours (instead of the 4-5 hour trips we've been doing), so practically next door We'll leave tomorrow morning, settle in, and compete on Sunday. With a shorter commute, hopefully we'll be home by dinnertime for a change. It's been pouring rain this week, so chances are this competition is going to resemble a slip and slide through muddy fields. Wheee!
My weekend started yesterday and it's been so nice. Yesterday I went to a pool party and then out with fellow dancers for dinner and drinks. Today I'm going to run some errands that are tough on weekends, get a manicure, and then maybe get together with the tattoo artist. Saturday evening I got invited to a show for another guy I've been out with, so I think I'm doing that. Sunday will be brunch with a friend and then relaxing. I'm sure there's something else on my schedule I'm not remembering.
Oh! I'm starting water fitness classes tomorrow with deep water fitness. I'm a little nervous because swimming in the pool yesterday wore me out pretty quickly. One of my errands today is to get a one piece bathing suit for the water fitness and maybe also a swim cap.
I have a former nestie who is coming into town. We are going to a Soccer Match, I can't wait. I met her in her hometown and had a blast. It will be fun to show her around mine.
I'll watch some World Cup games and hit up a yoga class. I don't have a lot planned other than the above.
