I’m running on pretty much zero sleep today. It’s 9am and I’m already over it. I couldn’t get to sleep or stay asleep last night, and ended up with a total of less than four hours of sleep, broken up between 10pm and 6am.
H went out bowfishing last night, and didn’t get home until 4am. He got home during one of the times I’d managed to get to sleep, and I woke up right as he walked through the doorway of the bedroom and almost had a heart attack when I saw him standing there. Like, I legit screamed and jumped and freaked out because I was so disoriented and just saw a looming figure suddenly appear.

Pretty normal week here. I had a couple of doctor's appts this morning but otherwise nothing notable.
Our dryer is broken, DH has been working on it for 2 weeks and according to what LG told him based on the diagnostic test it should work but doesn't. So, looks like we're going to have to have a repairman out because it seems most likely it's just a faulty sensor and we need a new part. The machine is pretty new so of all things to break this wouldn't have been my guess.
HoneySpider sorry about the dryer that’s so annoying....
katespade that would have scared the crap out of me!!!
I’m officially going to look for a new job. My boss crossed the line from toxic to “beyond toxic.” As soon as I get the new girl up and trained, it’s on. I don’t even know where to start. I’m literally in back-to-back interviews, training someone, and have been covering for her while she’s out last week....and she gets pissed because I left my office a second to go to the bathroom. Like, she didn’t know where I was for maybe 2 minutes. MelB OUT.

Not much going on here. The floor is DONE and the only things we really have to do is a small amount of trim that H is deciding what to do with. So it's time to put everything back in its place! I'll have to take actual after pictures once things are mostly back in order, lol.

katespade- ((Hugs)). Sorry about the rough night of sleep 🙁
HoneySpider- I hope you get your dryer fixed soon!
MrsMB- what HoneySpider said! You are a saint staying this long! I wouldn’t even wait to have the new girl trained...
We are on vacation! We had a welcome breakfast this morning (we are at my dads timeshare) and then did a hike! C is throwing fits over everything (probably tired) so it’s very up and down. The good is great but the bad is horrible. Our plans are mostly hikes, time at the beach, and a couple restaurants/breweries.
My dads cousin is supposed to come tomorrow and I kind of don’t want her too. Not in the mood to socialize and entertain another person. Plus she keeps texting me...I am hardly keeping in touch with anyone trying to enjoy this as much as possible.
My birthday is Friday...not sure what we will do but hopefully it will be a fun day!
katespade Sorry about the no sleep, hope you get a better rest tonight!
MrsMB You are a rockstar for sticking out your job, I would of been looking a long time ago. I hope your search goes really quick and you find a great job suited for you!
luv2rn4fun Happy early birthday and your vaca sounds so nice!
We need a new washer. We have a front loader that we leave open all the time and there is still mold that will NOT go away. Anyone have one (top loader) they like that's not $$$$?
luv2rn4fun happy early birthday! Have fun on vacation!
We are all moved in! Now time to unpack. I’m currently waiting on the tv company to come install the cable and internet. H’s friend and his son decided to stay last night. Our first night in the new apartment and we already had guests lol. Later I have to find the grocery store and get some stuff. H is looking forward to driving me around later to show me everything once he gets home from work.
krystee, DH and I have Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer set and we like them a lot. I think we got them right before we got married, so they've been working well for 8 years. The washer is a top loader with no agitator.

My H's aunt is in the hospital. MIL tends to overexaggerate so I'm hoping she is this time but idk. Apparently she collapsed and is coughing up blood. I know she has liver issues (alcohol related) and her hemoglobin has been really low. Last I heard she's supposed to be doing treatments but wasn't doing them. I'm foggy on the details but I'm worried MIL just lost her mom about 2 years ago now (and her dad I think like 15 years ago?) so losing her sister would be terrible right now. I'm just hoping it's not as serious as it could be and that she can bounce back. Ugh. Idk what I'm looking for here, just need to get it out I guess. Maybe some good thoughts her way or something.

MIL texted H, sounds like his aunt is still getting blood transfusions and they're doing an endoscope in the morning to see what's going on. I don't know much about her condition so I'm not sure what the possibilities are. All I really know is that her liver has been in terrible condition and in the last year or so her health has been going downhill a bit. When we saw her at her grandkids' birthday party a couple months ago, she said she was tired and shaky a lot. I just wish she'd do the things she should be doing to get better because it's just going to get worse 🙁
Dh is out of town at his parents house, he needed to do some work on his truck to get it ready for a road trip he’s taking with some friends in July. (His parents have all the tools and a shop to work in)
I am on days off and I am not getting anything non my list done. I had so much stuff planned but then we found a flea on our pup.
Just one should be that bad right? Urg. Where we used to live fleas were never a problem, and we didn’t have to give preventative meds for them. I guess here you do because they are all very common here.
So I may have gone a little over board but I’ve washed, vaccuumed etc DDs whole room and all her toys. I have also done the main bathroom, kitchen, dining rooms. Tomorrow I am going to do the living room and our bedroom. Hopefully they haven’t spread in the meantime. (If they were going to)
awick14 Oh no! One of my cats had fleas when I first got him (well, I think had evidence of them, I don't think they actually saw one but he had bites and such) so we washed things and they gave him something for it. Never saw any after that and I probably didn't clean super well (I was living alone at the time). Hope they go away and don't come back!

That makes me feel a little better. He actually has no bite marks that I can find. But I have treated him, bathed him in tick/flea shampoo, and cleaned his beds and vacuumed all the furniture.
