How is everyone? Anyone here? How were your weekends?

My weekend was really good, I did some productive things but also had time to relax. I spent too much at the dance supply store on Sunday, but now I have a leopard-print dance bag/duffle bag and a black water bottle that says dancer on it in addition to the dance sneakers I needed to buy.

Morning! My weekend was a lot of fun but really busy! Friday night I hung out with friends at a cheese curd festival. Probably the best part was laying in the grass with my BFF talking. Saturday I had brunch with some of my prison ladies and then bartended at a wedding, which was a lot of fun and I made good money doing it. Sunday I was exhausted so I stuck pretty close to home and did house stuff.

Random: I ordered a mattress from Amazon and it never rose to the full 8" (that's what he said) so I contacted Amazon who sent me a free replacement and told me to keep the original one. The new one did the same thing so Amazon refunded me my full purchase price and I get to keep both mattresses! The mattress itself sleeps fine, it just never got to the full height.

I wish there was some kind of satisfaction guaranteed when other things are smaller than promised.

Weekend was rather uneventful and that was definitely a good thing.

I feel like yesterday took forever to get through. No one needs a Monday to feel like it lasts for 3 days.

Today is all about rain and storms. At 10 am I was conducting a training and noticed the attendee was staring outside. That’s because it looked like midnight. The downfall of an all glass building: storms.

Great weekend but I think I bought defective sunscreen because I got burnt to a crisp this wknd.

Friday was an all day pool party. Started at noon and I did not leave till after midnight.

Saturday I watched my 2 month old great nephew.

Sunday I spent with my dad at the fairgrounds for a huge classic car show.

doriswe, So do you now have double mattresses? Very princess and the pea? I ordered one from Amazon a few years ago and it came in such a small box I was surprised that it was a mattress.

I've been watching so much soccer my head is spinning. I love the world cup. I watched tons of matches on Saturday, Sunday I had a 4 matches and an Atlanta United match with a friend in from out of town. She was speechless at how the fans are at the matches. We had a blast.

Today I did some business stuff, then I got to go to the aquarium with my friend. I got to see an amazing dolphin show, and the new puffin exhibit. I love puffins.

Ohhh, I should do that!! I'd have a full 12" that way
