BIL wedding... hair color

BIL is getting married this fall. I can't tell level of formality (they've mentioned Subway sandwiches as reception meal, but registered for a $400 frying pan).

My hair is dark brown and I currently have a heavy bang dyed purple. I know there will be some family photos taken, and I can't decide if I should dye my hair all brown for the wedding or not.

Sigh...writing this, I know I should go brown. I don't forever want MIL to have pictures of me w purple hair on her wall and email to her bazillion "friends". I just hate that I have to change my hair for BIL's wedding.

You're right. I might be tired of it (but I've had it a few months and not tired of it yet).

Unfortunately can't go back the next day...it's a process to get my hair to "absorb" the color properly and not fade within a week, so it'll take a while to get back where it will be in the fall.

Only other option is hope it doesn't rain and I don't sweat and use balding-man colored spray hair stuff.

(I hate weddings and lukewarm - at best - toward my ILs. Which makes me be even more childish than usual.)

I'd probably dye it for the pictures, and then do something different afterwards.
