I am in such a makeup rut. I changed to flex hours at work a couple of months ago which means starting at 6:00 a.m. I have been doing the same boring make up every day (one color shadow on my lid) and have eyeshadow palettes and lipstick that I haven't even used yet. I can't seem to drag myself out of bed earlier than 4:30.

I had off this week and started organizing my beauty products. I gathered a few things that I barely use (Lorac Mega Pro 3 for one... I never grab for it) and some new eyeliners and am going to give them to my son's girlfriend.

I've realized (again) that I need to stop buying and start using. When I think of how much money I've invested in this stuff it's kind of sickening. I hired a personal trainer at the gym and will use my money for that instead of beauty products. After paying for a personal trainer I won't have much extra spending money left, so that solves that problem!

Yes! I could be totally wrong, but it looks like he is wearing the beached palette. I’m obsessed with it, so maybe I just have it on the brain lol

We're moving 700+ miles away next week, which means everything is barely controlled chaos in my house right now. Looking at pictures of my gorgeous new bathroom with STORAGE (which means that I won't have to keep all of my makeup in a linen closet the way I have in this house) is definitely one of the things that has me more excited than upset about this move. There is so much stuff in my stash that I haven't even touched or looked at in the past three years because I haven't even had a bathroom countertop to call my own, and now I'm going to have a double sink, two huge under-sink cabinets, and a little nook in the master closet for my big storage unit. Yay!

Not sure what the difference was but my last dip mani has held strong for almost a month. The growth is driving me crazy but I haven’t been able to get them removed or get the stuff I need to remove them myself.

I’m dying over the ABH Norvina palette and the Lorac Pro 4. The close ups of the Lorac are just gorgeous. I’ll need to see the ABH one in person though because I’ve been wanting the ND Lila palette and I really hate that velvet packaging.

I’ve really been trying to shop my stash lately and have fallen back in love with my Naked 1 palette. I feel like this happens every summer.

Half baked is such a gorgeous lid color and lately I’ve been using a little bit of Naked in the crease and a lot of Smog in the crease (with half baked on the lid). Shimmer in the crease gives such a glowy look to the eyes.

Ran out of eye cream suddenly without a backup on hand, thanks to DE’s packaging. I swore I had another week or more before I ran out based on weight. Apparently not.

I saw pics of the Norvina palette last night on Temptalia and got really excited - I love my MR palette but I don’t need any more warm red-toned things. I have cooler undertones and I’ve been really hoping that ABH would do something more geared toward that! I sincerely hope the quality is as good as MR; if so, I’m going to snatch it right up! It’s just so pretty and more my style!

Idk the more swatches I see of it the more I’m talking myself out of it. Some of them are coming out very dark and more brown than purple. I’m annoyed just give us a damn purple palette already.

Whoever is packing things at Sephora can't read a damn packing list. I ordered another DE eye cream, my birthday gift, and added a promo for a deluxe size fenty eyeliner. The only thing in my box was my eye cream and foil samples. No birthday gift and no eyeliner.

It's one of my favorite summer palettes. Summer is pretty much the only timeI'll wear those warm browns.

You could do something like white or cream and have a red accent nail. Or just go with blue nails.

I totally recommend using the chat feature (when available) to talk to Sephora customer service. So much more effective than phone or email!

I chatted with them about my missing gift and eyeliner promo and she sent them out to me. I was skeptical, but I received them today!

Dammit, Hourglass just launched a new eyeshadow formula. I'm in the middle of a huge move, haven't worn eyeshadow since school let out because we've been prepping/packing, and don't need anything new, and yet I MUST HAVE THESE. Hourglass is that brand for me--I can't say no.

I think I’m going to try to pan half baked. I always forget what a pretty color it is and for a couple years I was in “buy all the things” mode. But now I’m not wanting to spend the money on eyeshadow, I always end up buying the same colors. Now blush and foundation...different story, lol!
