1) I got in 3 of 3 CF workouts. I ran 9 miles (target was 8). 2) I'm at the beach and not interested in dropping into a gym. So I am trying to run at least 12 miles this week. 3) I want to be mindful of what I'm eating on vacation... without "depriving" myself of little guilty pleasures. 4) NSV - I found a way to rope my 11 and 9 year old cousins into being my running buddies this week!
I'm pretty good with working out when I say I'm going to. If I don't, it's usually because I get stuck on something at work. And if I miss the 4:30 pm class, that's it. I won't work out at home.
1. Eating went well and I only was bad on the 4th. I'm really enjoying my low carb diet. I walked more than normal but we didn't make it to the coast. 2. Nothing planned...no motivation 3. Keep eating low carb 4. My dress pants that were tight 2 weeks ago and miserable to sit in fit so much nicer this morning
I normally don't schedule work outs like you guys do but I should. My go to excuse is usually the kid, LOL
Off topic I want to sign up for a yoga class Friday mornings at 9am. My problem is I have DD with me on Fridays until school starts. The class is through the rec center and last time I took the class a couple years ago I was the youngest one in the class by 20 years. Registration says it is open to all ages. Would it look bad if I just sign DD 7 up for it too? She can totally follow along and do yoga too as she will do it with me at home. I just think I would be more apt to actually do it if I sign myself up for the class and not try and do it at home.

1) How did last week go?
Good. I'm not sure how much weight I'm down but I'll check on Wednesday. I wasn't down any when i snuck a peak today, but I've been eating well.
2) What are your exercise goals for this week?
All greens in training peaks gearing up for my races.
3) What are your nutrition goals for the week?
I hope to be down at least one more pound by the time I get to my nutritionist on Thursday. I'm kind of due for a plateau though (based on past weight loss experience) so I'm a bit nervous that's going to happen instead.
4) Any non-scale victories?
I did a 40 mile bike ride all on my own (on a bike path not the road...I don't ride on my own on the road) and then the next day we did hill repeats for 8 miles running that I really didn't want to do after the previous day's bike ride, but I did it anyway. Go me!
Bonus - Tell us about the last time you planned to work out and then... didn't. What was your reason?
I think the last time was when I went to bed feeling sick and woke up with DD's terrible chest cold. I was supposed to swim that morning but I could not fathom getting into the pool and limiting my breathing like that so I stayed home. I ended up not working out for a few days. Kid germs are the worst.
I try not to miss workouts. Sometimes it happens tuesday evenings when I'm supposed to run with a group but I have to work late unexpectantly. When that happens I normally skip running all together.

186momx, at 7 I think she could totally do a yoga class! She would need to be quiet, is the only hitch. But I'd think she's old enough to handle that right?
The other option that occurs to me is if they have any kid classes at the same time or child care available. But I'd love to do a yoga class with my 6 year old DS. My 4 year old...would not be able to swing it unless it was a kid specific class. It's a maturity thing.

1. I got all of my workouts in! I even went to the Saturday CF class and oh. My. God. We did a workout called the Fatal 40. It took me 83 minutes, which wasn't bad since some of our seasoned members took 75-80. It was rough, I'm still hurting today, and I loved it. DH went so we had to take the kids and they did so great. It's going to make Saturday classes a lot easier to attend. Food was meh. Could have been worse but also could have been better given the holiday. 2. 3 CF, 1 run, 1 or 2 piyo. 3. Buckle down. I'm 6-7 lbs from my goal and have 5.5 weeks to reach it. My food is going to be what makes or breaks it. Only major events I have that could wreck it is our class reunion and our anniversary, which happen to be on the same weekend so I just need to plan accordingly. 4. I'm at the point where people are noticing and commenting on my weight loss, so that always feels good. Bonus: um this happens at least once a week. I'll plan on going in the AM and then DD will be up and it just doesn't work.
1) How did last week go? Pretty bad. It was my last week before marathon training so I did whatever the hell I wanted. That was fun!
2) What are your exercise goals for this week? Week 1 of marathon training Monday: 3 miles during fencing practice Tuesday: lift weights during swim lessons Wednesday: either 3 on the treadmill before work or 3 during fencing practice at night Thursday: 4- group run at night Friday: rest Saturday: 6 Sunday: lift
3) What are your nutrition goals for the week? Eat RP template foods but not worry about weighing yet
4) Any non-scale victories? I’m out of my running rut. I was in this mental place where I kept quitting or walking. Nothing hurt, I just couldn’t bear it. I can run without quitting now. That lingered for a long time. Group runs definitely helped.
Bonus: this past weekend I thought I might run Saturday but drank on Friday night and then didn’t feel like it. I made up for it Sunday though.
1) How did last week go? Good with workouts - I got all 6 in. Bad with food - I ate all the bad things because of the holiday.
2) What are your exercise goals for this week? Get 6 more of 80 Day Obsession done
3) What are your nutrition goals for the week? Get back track with eating after a bad weekend.
4) Any non-scale victories? I only have 3 weeks of 80 Day Obsession left. This last phase is kicking my butt!
Bonus - Tell us about the last time you planned to work out and then... didn't. What was your reason? If I miss a workout that I planned, it's usually because someone in my family is sick.
