Planning X's first international trip!

Canada to US is international right? ^o)

My FIL is sick with ALS and not doing very good. He is going to spend 2 months in Florida this fall/winter because it's a lot easier for him to get around over than than it will be here with all the snow. We don't get to see him to often because he lives about 4.5hours away. DH is getting some money from work as part of a union settlement so he suggested we go to Florida to visit his dad for a week. So all 3 of us are going (me, DH and X). I can't wait! We will probably go sometime end October as long as I can get the time off work. I applied for X's passport over a week ago so we should have it by then. I'm so excited!! Tonight we are going to start looking at vacation appartments to rent. I think that will be so much easier than staying in a hotel, especially with all my food restrictions, this way we can just cook our own food. So excited but also nervous about taking X on a plane!! I'll be a nervous wreck i'm sure.

That's so great you'll all be able to visit him for a week. A vacation rental will be so much easier with a baby IMO. How long is the plane ride for you?

Where in FL? I should totally look into going and visiting my grandma then.... Shes in and around Tampa.
