icedcoffee I have Cigna in a mandatory state and everything was covered. I had to call and ask for a fertility specialist before anyone had a clue about coverage. thoseareradishes we use huggies overnight but pampers during the day. We also switched to cruisers recently and like them.
Thanks!! I didn’t even realize they have fertility specialists. Will definitely ask for one of those!
What's the difference between the pampers swaddlers and cruisers? We're still in swaddlers, size 4, but will need to size up soon. We only use those during day, at night we use the baby dry.

The swaddlers are actually designed for smaller babies, and they tend to get saggy when full of pee. The cruisers are designed for mobile babies and they have channels so they don't get as saggy.
thoseareradishes we only use the pampers 12 hour diapers for night time; I have always thought regular pampers smelled funny once they were peed in, so I switched to huggies around 3 months exclusively. We sometimes use Honest now but mostly just because people gave them to us, lol. Also, great news about E's eval!
oneslybookworm, hugs. Tough week over there! I hope you get info about the dairy allergy and can make some quick changes to help the poor guy out!
Ugh, so S finally started sleeping a bit better at night (sttn all week until last night...) but he is teething wicked bad and has a bit of a cold. When we picked him up Tuesday at daycare they said he was pretty miserable and then yesterday they called me to get him at 2. He had a slight fever, was SO fussy, only wanted to be held, couldn't fall asleep, refusing to eat, etc. I finally got him all set to go to bed extra early (and he was SO ready) when he puked ALL over me from head to toe as I went to put him in the crib. He was so upset by it :/ Then woke up a few times in the night just crying in his sleep. Poor guy.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my kid over her fear of public washrooms? She has always been a bit noise sensitive (loud, mechanical noises like the coffee grinder terrify her). She now refuses to go into them even when I assure her they are quiet washrooms (those without hand dryers). She has peed in a public toilet exactly once, and that was 30 seconds before someone set the hand dryer off. She doesn't mind doing a pee where I hold her on the toilet, and for the most part doesn't mind flushing sounds, so this is purely bathroom related, not toilet related.
Or am I just going to have to buy a travel potty until she gets bigger and grows out of this fear? Still doesn't solve the problem of needing to take her in with me if we're out alone together and I have to pee. Toddlers, man!
I'll be honest, other people have said they don't have them but I called several times and finally got through to one who knew everything. It was so much easier talking to her. Make sure you get someone who works in the fertility world or else they are clueless.

Not eating much, just bottles. And of course, his first birthday party is tomorrow with more than 30 people coming!!

I am sorry. We have a similar story.....S woke up for her nap RIGHT at the time of her 1st Birthday party starting....woke up with red cheeks and a fever......we went on through the party, turns out she had RSV (found out on Monday, this was Saturday). HUGS
shauni27 we also had a sick baby for his 1st Birthday party. We pushed forward because we had 40 ppl coming (including out of towners), it was too late to cancel the catering, and the next weekend was thanksgiving week and we knew a lot of ppl would have other plans. He felt marginally better the day of the party, but to be honest was pretty miserable. I was sad that I didn’t get the 1st birthday party celebration I was envisioning, but it is what it is. I hope S feels better; poor nugget.

shauni27, We were able to move him to soy milk immediately, so he's been doing much better. The allergy tests came back with a milk allergy to milk, pea, and tree nuts, but the allergist thinks the treenuts and pea are false positives. We need to run bloodwork to rule them out completely, but otherwise, his allergies aren't anything that we'd need to completely remove the foods from his diet. Thankfully, his rash is also going away, seems much happier, and now we're only dealing with teething. Sigh, it's always something!

shauni27, I'm so sorry he's not feeling well. DS has been cutting teeth like crazy all of the sudden, so I can't imagine dealing with that and being sick I would just let him rest and, worse case scenario, let him make an appearance for cake/to say hi and go back to bed. Side note, I can't believe they're turning one!

AFM, I just graduated from the RE again and we're finalizing everything for DS's first birthday and baptism in a couple of weeks. This summer is flying.
Beta #1 today (13dpIUI) came back at 149! Repeat on Monday with RE (todays was with OB because RE nurse didn't want me to do them til Monday. I wanted it done before the weekend)
Are you doing a joint first birthday and Baptism? We actually just decided to do this. We weren't going to but due to out of town family we are just doing a 2 for 1 lol. I can't believe how old these babies are getting!

I don't blame you! We're actually doing the baptism in my husband's hometown, in the church where he was baptized, so we'll be traveling to most of my in-laws. Timing with work, godparents' schedules, DS traveling, etc made us wait until now.
We keep asking what made us think we could host two big parties, a week and over 800 miles apart, but oh well.
