Since I still get some flakiness from Retin A, I am looking for a chemical exfoliator that I can use a few times a week. Something I can put on and leave on for a few minutes in the morning (before continuing on with my skincare routine).
I was suggested Dr. Jart Milky Peel but am looking for other recommendations as well.
Current routine in the morning: Wash with cold water< DE Vitamin C Firma< Moisturizer< SPF
I would probably back off the retin-a and hydrate for a few days to let your skin calm down a bit, then alternate nights with an AHA like lactic acid. Chemical exfoliator aren't recommended to be used in the morning.

Any lactic acid recs?
Not really. I'm using up what's left of The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% (which I like) but the CEO of that company has gone crazy so I won't be purchasing more. I got some Bell Evolve LacLuronic serum but haven't used it yet so I can't vouch. I bought it per recs here and elsewhere.

The Biologique Recherche p50 is supposed to be amazing.
I use the Paula's Choice weekly resurfacing treatment with 10% AHA. They also have a different 10% AHA that's easier to leave on, but the weekly treatment sounds like what you're looking for. I'd use it once a week at night.
