My date went really well last night. At one point, one of the owners of the restaurant asked if he could say something, then told me I should give my date a shot because he's a nice guy and a great listener. It was a cute, funny moment.
After dinner we walked around the neighborhood for a bit, at my suggestion. Thankfully he kissed me at the end of the night when we got back to my car. It was all very cute and sweet.
Yesterday was also awesome because we had miniature horses for pet therapy at work!
I'm dragging...I'm way behind on stuff at work and was up late trying to catch up. But even I can't do a month's worth of work in a week, no matter how hard I try. It won't stop me from trying, though.
My visa came through for Vietnam, and the flights and hotels are all booked! I can't believe I leave on Friday!

bullygirl979, nice! It's been over 10 years since I've been there, but definitely check out Borough Market...cool foodie destination. And I know my sister and I went to see the changing of the mounted guard, rather than the regular changing of the guard, because she said it was cooler and less crowded. I think we also went in the Tower of London to see the crown jewels, did a fancy afternoon tea, and went to the Ice Bar lol.
I'm starting a new role next week and I'm super excited about it. Same company just a global vs. regional role and different responsibilities. Lots of work to do but I'm ready for it. Not gonna lie, I've totally been slacking off during this transition time. It has felt really good to take advantage of some down time.
I also have something fun going on in my personal life. I've been seeing a guy that I've known for 2 years for about a month now. Things got really serious this weekend while I was visiting him. It was in so many ways a perfect weekend and I cannot stop smiling.
