Exalt or Smite

I guess this is the "like" or "dislike" for this board. ;D Is this standard proboards lingo or is it superspecialcustom for P&CE?

I think that's special to P&CE -- What's Cooking is on ProBoards, too, but Exalt/Smite isn't on that board (nor is Like/Dislike, etc.).

It is standard. It doesn't really do anything -- exalt adds 'karma' and smite takes it away. But as far as I can tell karma is pointless. Bragging rights, I guess?

So... kind of like the "points" and nesticles were on the Nest? Familiarity isn't a bad thing.

Based on my experience with other boards, the "karma" shit only causes twisted panties. Especially if you can still see who up voted you and who down voted you. I think there is a way to get rid of this option, tho I'm not sure.

Also, there is a character limit? This could cause problems.

Apparently the limit is 60k characters per post. It won't let me change that.
