My 1.5 mile walk yesterday turned into a 4 mile hike lol. There are 2 trails and both are poorly marked. I was on the shorter one then ended up on the longer one somehow. I did end up having an awesome night sleep last night lol.
H is being moved to second shift next week. I’m going to miss eating dinner with him every night.

travelbug the switch is permanent. A guy from second wants to go to first and since H is the lowest guy on the list, he got moved. He always worked second shift but he was starting to like first shift. There is a 7% shift differential so that’s nice!
I only realized yesterday that it's a long weekend. We debated visiting the ILs but have decided to stay in town and do things here.
Tomorrow we're taking C to a puppet show and having my family over for supper. I'm hoping to convince DH to go to the Drive In on Sunday night. It's a dusk till dawn showing but I'm only interested in the first 2.
Has anyone been to "camping" at a park with yurts? DH is allergic to bug bites so we need indoor space. We've camped in my parents' trailer but he's not interested in getting our own trailer at all.
wineandcheese I’m glad there is a 7% increase that make it a little better. Maybe instead of dinner everynight together you guys can do a fun breakfast/lunch everyday to still enjoy being together for a meal
We stayed up way to late last night drinking Moscow Mules! L was up a couple times so I hardly got any sleep and was a little hungover this morning. I still managed to run 5.6 miles with the boys, go to the park, walk home, and get us all ready for a baby shower with an old friend from my college cross country days! Great to catch up (haven’t seen her in 3 years, at their wedding, but we keep up through FB/text) and see her family too! It’s 8:30 and I am exhausted LOL.
Ok, I only ran in one minute intervals and I haven't got another run in yet. It's been so hot and sunny and I burn easily so I've been avoiding it.
Hey, it’s a start! I hear ya on the heat! It’s been 90+ (close to 100 the last two days). The earliest I can get out of the house with the boys is 7:15 so an hour run puts be home around 8:15-8:25 (depending on how often I have to stop for them or lights). It’s been really hot! I did manage to run 3 days last week and so far 2 days this week (and 3 days in a row). Hoping I can stay consistent! The marathon I will do if I do one next year (I can’t decide how realistic it is...my dad says he will help so I need to know what it looks like because I can’t run more than about 90 min with the boys, it’s not fair to them) opens registration tomorrow...
