Who do you use? How much data do you get? Do you share with your DH or do you have separate plans? How much do you pay?
We currently have ATT, share 2GB, and pay $97ish between fees/taxes/etc.
DH wants to switch to Crickets or Metro PCS. I am scared to do this. I don’t want a bad connection while at home (I already drop calls) and I am also considering the Apple Watch (if I can do research and find that it is accurate while pushing a stroller...my Garmin is not and it’s frustrating to see a slower pace/less miles run). I need a name brand provider if I get the watch. We are currently fighting about it and I am hoping I can either be convinced to go to this no name provider or see that there are cheaper options as a compromise. Talked to a Verizon guy today and he said I should be ok with 2GB data since I am the only one using the data.
We have ATT. I looked at switching not long ago but DH works in a rural area an hour away so we stayed on our same plan because it was the best coverage available. 12GB shared.
Our bill is still getting sorted out (extra fees due at upgrading, credits back from getting new phones, etc) but I think it will end up at $170-180 a month. That includes the rental cost for both phones ($28.34 per phone a month) and insurance on both phones ($8.99 per phone). DH does receive a discount on his line because of his employer.

Our price also includes the payment for 2 Samsung J6 phones (about $13 total...DH still uses his but mine broke and my parents bought me an iPhone because they know it’s my sanity saver for SAH). It also includes a discount from my previous employer...they still have it on file that I work there 😮
We share 16g of data, because H is a data hog and streams stuff all day long when he’s at work (no WiFi available). Not including the cost of the payments our phones and the insurance on both of them, we pay around $100 a month.
This is actually making me think that it might be time to go ahead and pay off the rest of our phones as a lump sum, because it would cut our bill in half. 😂

That’s a great rate! I got quoted $95 for 4GB shared data from a Verizon authorized dealer today.
-Sprint -Unlimited everything -On a plan with a bunch of people (my mom's account, my sister, dad, H, grandma, uncle and MIL are all on it too) -Our portion is $120 including MIL (she pays us $30/month but her portion is technically more. We aren't paying any extra, it just evened our portions out when we switched from our own plan to my moms, I didn't see the point in charging her more). So really our portion is like $80.

I told DH he could switch and if I wanted to I could always go to my dads account...he doesn’t want to get them involved though.

To be fair, it's super easy for us because my mom works at my main bank and is still on my account (added H to it) so she just transfers the money monthly whenever I get paid a second time during the month. If for some reason we need her to wait she can. We were only off her plan for a short time when it was just me, H and MIL until we were able to get all added to my mom's when we found out it would be cheaper. She's had her account there for probably 20 years and she calls and negotiates the best deals which is something I'm not good at, lol. So it works out pretty well for us
Verizon 16 GB data, unlimited text and calling We're actually on a plan with H's family- MIL, BIL, H, me, MIL's boyfriend. We also get 15% off the bill bc of my job. I think our total is usually $85/month for just H and I?
Before we got the 15% knocked off and negotiated a lower rate prior to that, I was looking into cricket.
We use Republic Wireless - run mostly on WiFi signal.
2 smartphones with 2GB shared
$48.00 a month!
We have no problems with connection or dropped calls.
This would not work if we weren’t around WiFi all the time though. My work I connect, hubs work has it, our home and at my parents house when we visit & at hotels when we stay. It works super well for us! Love, love having a small bill!
DH moves us to Cricket last night (although it won’t be activated til his phone arrives, likely tomorrow or Tues). We’ll see how it goes...if I don’t like it I can move to either my parents or my brothers plan (he offered when I asked his opinion because this is an area he is really knowledgeable on) or I can get my own individual plan through Verizon. I am still leaning towards getting the Apple Watch...if I do and feel like it’s not realistic to carry my phone then I will go to a carrier that supports it (maybe Cricket will by then!).
