Poop diaper during the night

I changed C's diaper this morning after he had his bottle and he had pooped while sleeping. This is like the second or third time he has done this and I can't understand why he doesn't wake up crying. Poor baby had it caked on his little butt and I felt so bad. I had to wipe a lot in order to get it off and it got a little red. This is the first little rash he's had since being in the nicu. He got a bad rash while in there. I always put rash cream on him at bedtime as a preventative thing. My dad put it on him after each diaper change today. It just still makes me a little sad and I wonder how long he slept like that.

Poor little butt.

Owen pooped overnight once in the last little bit and was fussing a lot more than normal that night. I thought I smelled poo but doubted myself since he never poops in the MOTN. Now I'm paranoid that I'll miss one again and have to be up a million times.

Aww, his poor little tushy! Do you use A&D? I swear that diaper cream rocks. It smells kinda funky though.

My LO could care less about a poopy diaper. She would never let us know. Today she had a blowout on her playmat. She just kept playing, happily. It wasn't until I picked her up and saw the damage. Ick!

We normally use desitin cream. I have some butt paste on hand for a bad rash. The rash isn't awful but it is a little red and I don't like it. I've never used A&D.

No rash here, though it was a smaller poop. We use a decent amount of Sudocrem at night to help prevent anything.
