1. Food was pretty decent. Exercise was good, too. I got 4 CF workouts as planned, and ran 11.5 miles (was targeting 7). 2. 4 CF / 7 miles 3. Portion control. More veggies. 4. YESSSSS. I finished my 100 mile challenge on day 84! AND yesterday, I ran 5 miles for the first time ever. AND it was while I was pushing a stroller!

1. I was doing so well until we went to the state fair on Friday and I consumed things like deep fried pie and a super combo at the fried cheese truck. Then we had a cookout with friends that included cocktails. I got 5 workouts in though and walked over 13000 steps at the fair so I've had worse weeks. 2. 3 crossfit and 3 runs. New challenge actually started today. I have until Friday to fit all 6 workouts in unless I want to run or walk when I get home from a bachelorette weekend Sunday. 3. Make good choices all week since this weekend the wheels will come off this wagon until next Friday at least. Birthday week is next week after the bachelorette weekend this weekend so I need to get it together this week. It will be the only thing that gets me to my goal by Friday. 4. People are starting to comment in DH and I looking good. Bonus. No I dont think it will. If anything running will happen more often.
1) How did last week go? Great with exercise, it is what it is for food. I'm just going to face it, I don't think I can stay strict on RP. I like food. And drinks.
2) What are your exercise goals for this week? Monday: strength and run 3 Tuesday rest Wed: Run 3 on treadmill before work Thurs: at least 6 trail miles in the evening Friday: rest Sat: run 7 while we are camping Sunday: rest and maybe lift but probably not
3) What are your nutrition goals for the week? Eat....ok.
4) Any non-scale victories? Still injury free and I've run every single mile my plan has called for. I'm entering week 6.
Bonus - There are only a few weeks left in summer Will your workout routine change in the fall? Either because of weather, or your kids' school schedule? Heck yeah. I'm about to lose flexibility. Summer break is almost over for me and my kids. Hello lack of sleep and hustle. I'm not a fan of working. Plus we will add all the activities. UGH

I do have an issue I forgot I was going to ask you ladies about. I keep breaking out on my legs. Mostly on my hips and under my knees where my capri workout pants hit. I'm assuming its heat rash, but it doesn't go away. Which could just be from me working out with no more than 1-2 days in between. Looks like little pimples. Have any of you dealt with this before? Did you find any good way to prevent it? I'm starting to feel self conscious about it since they can be seen with certain shorts. I'm going to be in a bathing suit for most of Saturday and dont need one more thing to worry about when I'm hanging out with a bunch of skinny bitches.

erinshelley21, I tend to get heat rash around my rib cage and armpits from the friction with my sports bra. Sometimes groin area where my undies hit. It happens when I don't take my workout clothes off immediately after working out. Are you running errands after your workouts? Coming home and cooking dinner? Getting a few chores done? That's when it'll hit me.
Goldbond makes a stick (like a deoderant stick) to prevent chafing that might help - Friction Defense. I haven't tried it, but it has good reviews on line. It's mostly used for chub run. But I bet it could help in other areas too. As for treatment, a friend of mine uses Honest Company nipple cream on everything. Including heat rash and chub rub. might be worth a shot?
1) How did last week go? We were on vacation. So while my food choices weren't great, I certainly got a lot of walking in.
2) What are your exercise goals for this week? I don't even know. We all have the sniffles and feel like crap. I'm hoping for 1 or 2 workouts this week.
3) What are your nutrition goals for the week? Get back to calorie counting. DH wants to lose weight too, so we are going back to what worked for us before.
4) Any non-scale victories? Pants are still loose after vacation!
Bonus - There are only a few weeks left in summer Will your workout routine change in the fall? Either because of weather, or your kids' school schedule? My routine will change since DS1 starts soccer and I start teaching at the university for the fall semester. So there is less time to squeeze in a workout.
erinshelley21, I use body glide to help when things give me hot spots. I use it way more in the summer.
1. Food okay, workouts not great
2/3. So far the week has sucked with food so lets try to get off the bad food slide and go back to my low carb stuff. I see any outdoor things limited due to smoke so try and do a couple yoga sessions at home
4. My dress pants are back to fitting better than they were at the end of June
Bonus: I'm hoping with more of a set schedule I will be able to schedule more time for me. I also get back my free days on Fridays at least during school hours!

I have this on my shoulders and it presents like you describe. It took forever to diagnosis. I wash with head and shoulders and it keeps it in check.
I came back here to tell you I finally got bothered enough by the bumps and I took your head and shoulders suggestion and put it to use. I've washed the areas one single time and they are all but clear now! Thank you!
