Monday snuck back up on us! How is everyone? How were your weekends?

Hi there!

I'm beat today. Dang you, Monday!

The weekend was good. We had drinks on the patio Friday and had a fire. Saturday we went out for breakfast and I went to the camera shop to talk to them about buying a new lens. It was so nice out we went for a leisurely bike ride in the evening.

Sunday I went for a real bike ride and then we went to friends' house for dinner and to see their new digs.

I'm in NJ now. It's nice to be at my grandma's house and back in my hometown. I had an egg and cheese bagel and all is now right with the world.

My weekend was good. Friday evening I showed up to a friend's birthday celebration and was the 9th wheel. Super awkward. Literally everyone else was coupled up. I'd been feeling rejected last week, so that didn't help. I ended up meeting a cute man that night and hooked up with him. He doesn't live in town, but it was a nice moment.

Weekend was a mixed bag of stuff. Friday night I can't remember what I did....must have stayed home? Idk. Saturday DD lost her shit on me when I brought her coffee. She's not a fan of me having a bf, apparently. I've been struggling with all the feels about that. Saturday afternoon/evening DS and I went to a concert and rocked out to Dan + Shay, Andy Grammer and Rascal Flatts. My "other daughter" and her boyfriend wanted to get close to the stage for Andy Grammer, so I showed them how to make your way through a crowd lol. We had a blast singing and dancing....I must still be a little cool?!?

Yesterday was running errands and trying to talk to DD, but she shut it down. Laid low, otherwise.

I wasn't expecting it to be quite so rainy! My dry skin loves it, but I'd like to not sweat through everything I put on! It was almost this humid at home, though. I'm looking forward to seeing you too!
