Week of 8/20

Yesterday I was so excited that we got a nice $600 refund check from a medical bill earlier this year.

Except DH then came home to announce his car is acting up and needs $900 in repairs.

I would like just ONE freaking month this year without a $1k expense. Grrr.

Omg I feel you so much right now. I am stressed about being able to save for maternity leave.

Ugh I hear ya too ewall. DH took his truck in this week and $600 later it runs again. He still says he feels a stutter but hopefully after he drives it a bit it smooths out.

Plus side I took my car in to get a tire patched and was told I would have to replace it. Took it to a new place today and they patched it for free. Nice surprise!

My tuition thing was taken care of, about 30 minutes before the deadline. It's honestly stupid and makes little sense, but I'll likely have to resubmit my documentation again next fall when I take time off for maternity leave. I'll just do it to save myself the headache but it's dumb that I have to.

ewall that sucks. Whenever H’s truck needs repairs it’s always expensive.

Toy Story Land was so cute! We ended up leaving pretty early for us last night. H looked exhausted at 6:30. I was able to talk him into leaving at 7:30 and he slept the entire 2 hour ride home. We go back in 2 weeks for Food and Wine festival.

My dad, the boys, and I ran today! Ended the week with 26.9 miles (so a new high for a week)! DH decided he wanted to get coffee and grocery shop so we all went...except C was a mess so we didn’t get coffee and I shopped while they waited in the car. I also started sewing my first shirt today...so far it’s going well! Need to add the collar and hem everything and then it’s done- hopefully during nap time tomorrow!
