Today is my last day of taking letrazole. They started me on 7.5 mg which I thought was high for the very first time taking (doing IUI). I go in on Friday for another monitoring/blood work and they'll let me know if I can use ovidrel as the trigger and the size of follicles. Other than the headache I don't feel any different. Several people said they got ovarian pain while on it but since I really have no symptoms I am questioning it and keep going to google.
On good news I got on the scale this morning and I'm down almost 11 lbs in 5 weeks.
I have my nurse consult this week, I am hoping we can proceed onto another FET without any more extra testing. Pregnancy test this morning was negative so my beta should be <5 now.
Nothing new. I'll need another hysteroscopy next cycle if I can fit it in around my work trip. It's kind of nice to just be off medication and relaxing for the time being, not tethered to injections the way I was on my vacation, not constantly waiting for my next appt on the calendar.
I'm just plugging along with Lupron injections. On Wednesday I have a baseline check and start Vivelle dots. Transfer date is still scheduled for 9/14.

Still no period. And I'm starting to get very annoyed because even though we're not cycling this month we are cycling next month and this is going to push transfer and retrieval into November potentially.

megstoo, hopefully you will continue to be relatively symptom free! I had a terrible headache but otherwise no real symptoms on letrozole.
icedcoffee I hope your period comes soon! It is super annoying doing the calculations when you're late about how far out it will push your treatment cycles.
scm1011, yay late May/early June babies for everyone! Are you feeling ok on the lupron? I know some people think the symptoms are terrible.
shoeless, glad things are moving in the right direction for you. Do you think you will be able to start meds for a FET right away or will they want you to take a cycle off?
compassrose, good luck this week. We are all rooting for you.
Jalapeñomel I'm sorry you're not feeling more hopeful about the transfer. You feel how you feel and while it might help you to feel good about things it's not necessary for you to be positive in order for it to work! We will hold the hope for you. <3

Yes, I shouldn't have limited that to just us! Here's hoping for a late spring 2019 baby boom around these parts!! I'm actually doing fine on lupron this time around. Last cycle it gave me terrible headaches, but after 8 days of injections I've yet to have one (which then makes me anxious like is it working?!?). I've never been on vivelle so I guess we'll see if that causes any fun side effects.

I hate that "is it working" feeling so much! Do you have a monitoring appointment scheduled sometime soon so you can see how things are progressing?
I'm really hopeful we have another big boom of positives the next couple of cycles.

scm1011 I think I've even come to terms with the fact that we will probably not have a pre 9/1 baby. At this point though, I'm also worried about retrieval and transfer getting too close to my parents coming to town. Basically--I know this will all happen, but it will wait until the most inconvenient time. LOL
A spring/summer 2019 baby boom sounds lovely though!
I peed on a few wondfos last night just for fun. Apparently expiration date does matter because 2 of the 3 had errors. These all expired in 2016. Haha The 3rd was a negative which is fine because I expected it. Hopefully it starts today before 5 so it can be day 1!

Huh. I have no idea what the expiration date is on mine...

ugh, BFN today. And if I can't delay my period for a few days, we won't be able to cycle the next two months due to vacation and work travel. Beta isn't until Thursday, so I would stop progesterone supps then. I can't remember, how long after you stop the progesterone does your period start? What if I take them an extra 1-2 days? I really need to just extend it a few days to make it work.

GL to all those transfers this week!
I'm sorry, what a drag. Usually I got my period 2 days after stopping progesterone. When I needed to make some cycle adjustments during IUI my provider was fine with me popping a couple of extra suppositories (in my case 4 days worth) to delay my period from coming. I did have a little bit of spotting toward the very end as my period tried to come but it was all fine and very helpful as it set my cycle start at a time that didn't conflict with a work trip. Hope you are able to have the same luck.

I’m sorry. I stopped progesterone when I got the negative beta, and then got my period two days later.
I'm sorry starryfish. Like others, I've seen progesterone work to delay my cycle sometimes, but not always. So it's worth a try, but know that it doesn't always work.
I'm sorry, starryfish I hope the timing works out for the next couple of cycles.
I had a lining check this morning and all looks good! I also started back up with a research study done through Harvard Medical School like I did last cycle (my clinic is within a Harvard teaching hospital). Basically for every appointment during treatment (and hopefully pregnancy) they take a urine and blood sample and I complete a short survey, and in exchange I get a $25-50 Amazon gift card. Last cycle I made like $700, so its a good haul! They're studying the effects of different products (mostly beauty and personal care, but also cleaners, food from cans, etc) on fertility/pregnancy/children.
