Had my uterine biopsy on Monday for my mock transfer cycle and it was AWFUL. I apparently have a very difficult uterus to access, two different NP's tried and then they had to call in a Dr. It was awful and painful and I'm already terrified for my actual transfer. I'll get the results in about two weeks but we're already rolling into my transfer cycle as soon as my period starts! Tentative transfer date is 9/26 or 9/27.
woowoo, my first mock was the same way (so painful!) and my transfer was NBD. As was my most recent mock. I hope they’ve worked out the kinks and everything goes smoothly on transfer day!

Thank you! Nothing can be easy, right? They will likely use an ultrasound guide for the transfer, it was that bad.

Oh man, I'm sorry. Still, I'm glad they have a plan to make it go more smoothly next time. Hopefully you've survived the worst of it! And yes, it often seems in IF that nothing can be easy. Hugs.
woowoo sorry it was bad! I hope your actual transfer is a lot easier.
I take my last birth control pill this Sunday and have a baseline ultrasound scheduled for Thursday. They don’t do this in my city, so I have to drive a couple hours away. I decided to make the best of it, so I took the day off work and am going shopping and meeting up with a friend for lunch.

I have my first appointment for my FET cycle tomorrow. I’m dreading doing this again, but I’m really glad it’s not anywhere near as time consuming as the retrieval.

FETs are SO MUCH EASIER. Good luck tomorrow.
TMI alert: These Vivelle (Estradiol) patches....are not agreeing with my stomach. I feel like I've lost 5lbs in the last 24 hours. I'm only wearing one patch now, I feel like once I'm up to 3 patches it'll be the equivalent of a colonic (if there is anything left by then!)

What about the pills? I think I start those tomorrow.

No pills for me. My protocol this time is BCP, Lupron, Vivelle patches, and Progesterone.

I'm on day 5 of the pills and it mostly feels like nothing at all but I think it is making me a little nauseous this morning and more tired than usual.
scm1011 I'm sorry the patches are having such a terrible effect for you!

I can't tag you on my phone, but good luck, Jalepenomel! You will not believe how much easier FETs seem; I felt the same way coming off a miscarriage and just freaking burned out, but it was so easy (and I also did it right at the beginning of the school year, which is chaotic enough as you know).

I wish I had that problem. I had the opposite reaction...

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY. I got my period!!!
I was actually starting to hope it wouldn't come for like another week and then we could just cycle this cycle, but it's ok. I get to schedule my mock embryo transfer for next week! Hopefully my next cycle is not as long as this one was.

Well, I got my blood drawn (not til 1:30 through a series of unfortunate events), but now my home RE closed at 3. So not sure if I’ll be able to find out before Monday :/

This is clearly a sign that you should POAS asap!
ETA: Hope your unfortunate events weren’t too unfortunate and I hope you get your results today!
