I love me some megababy! I totally know how you feel. DS was 19 lbs 26" at 5 months, he's 22 lbs 27" now. We switched from an infant to convertible carseat 2 weeks ago. I also just re-did his dresser today, swapping out the 12mo clothes for 18mo. Every time people ask how old his is and I say "almost 7 months" they go
Hilarious. DS was 8lb10oz at birth and just over 20 at a year. We passed like everything down to our friends who have a son 15mos younger and it's basically the same. My DS needs 3Ts cinched the whole way in and her son is in a 3T or 4T with the legs rolled up bc he needs the bigger waist.
My first son was the giant (21lbs at six months) and it is always surprising to me when DS2 can actually wear the size close to his age. DS1 will be 3 in December and is in 4t or 5t now, just so you know what you are in for. Lol.

Another megababy mom here. DS was 19lbs8oz and 28" at his 4mo appointment last week. He's the size (or bigger) than several friends' 1yo children. I love how big he is but it is a bit annoying to have him outgrow so much baby stuff while he is still so young! He never even fit in the Bumbo once he had enough head control for it - the thighs are too chunky. Normal-sized babies now seem impossibly small to me.
My first was a mega baby. She's almost 3 and wears 5T now and we'll probably get 6T shorts for next year since the current 5T shorts are snug and probably won't work unless she really stretches out over the winter. This season is the first time I've been able to reuse stuff from last season (The bigger 4T's are still in rotation, but will be out soon since she's eating a ton and will probably shoot up any moment).
Start doing bench presses now. Mega babies are hard on the back

Oh, and FYI if Megababy isn't an endorsement for the Ergo I don't know what is. I wore him at the baseball game for 4 hours last Friday and my back was fine.
omg! I love the pictures, they are adorable, but holy moly, my 2.5 year old weighs 23 pounds! I don't even know what my 5 month old weighs actually- maybe 13?
My little 7 month old DS is a Megababy too...he's weighing on at 23lbs right now. We are putting him in a convertable carseat (RF) this weekend because I cannot handle the carrier anymore and he's outsized it. Love my chunkers.
