Remind me not to give E oatmeal again until she's better with a spoon! There was oatmeal EVERYWHERE this morning. It's much more fun to stick her hands in the bowl than to use a spoon

We let S eat with a spoon now (we take turns--I spoon him some, then he does it. Repeat.) and it is SO MESSY, lol. Sometimes he does great, but this AM he put the wrong end of the spoon in his yogurt and also waved the yogurt covered spoon around like a magic wand.
Also, S is repeating so much these days! We were facetiming with my parents last night and when my dad got on the screen, I said, "hi poppy!" and s goes, "HI POPPY!!!" We all melted. This am, during above yogurt incident, he got so much yogurt over his face his nose was making bubbles in it as he was breathing. I started laughing saying "omg, yogurt bubbles!" and he goes "bubbles!!"
So now, at 13 months exactly, he regularly says or has said: mama, dada, hi, hello, ball, cracker, bubble, poppy, gentle, help and up. I am so proud of him!
When we get back I'll have to put some serious effort into finding a new daycare or nanny for A. Her little in home daycare is closing and I am so sad for her... It took us so long to get her comfortable there. FML.
