I've read mixed things and I honestly forgot to ask my Dr yesterday. I took the trigger last night (super easy) about 6 and go in for IUI tomorrow at 11:45. Am I supposed to have a full bladder?
I also started estradiol yesterday vaginally and OMG I hate it - it's like a smurf died up in there. I'll be taking that with progesterone (also vaginally). I also really hate scheduled sex. Neither DH or I can really get into it and he made a comment last night that it's just not "as fun". When I talked with the Dr after the ultrasound yesterday he said if this doesn't take we can start looking into daily injections or going to IVF. I had 10 measured follicles but 9 of them were between 5-10mm and only 1 was at 23. I know it only takes 1 but I feel like I should have at least 2 good size ones for IUI. Needless to say I'm not feeling optimistic right now.

I hate the estradiol tabs! So much blue!
I needed a full or partly full bladder for my FET, so I'm guessing so for the IUI.
I think only one lead follicle is great! A good chance at one healthy baby--two gives you a higher chance of twins (which maybe you were hoping for, but it is more risk).
I don't think my doc told me either way about the bladder before my IUIs. I only had one mature follicle on my successful cycle. That's really all it takes!
I have no memory of my RE every mentioning anything re: bladder fullness for my 6 IUIs. Also, for anecdotal support; the one IUI we got pregnant on we had one follie. The goal is just one for IUI!
side story: for my IVF transfer they said to come with a full bladder. I got there and had to pee SO bad. I figured it would be quick like an IUI (because what the hell did I know?) so I said, "ok my bladder is full, I cannot wait to pee!" They were like, uh...it is going to be about 35-45 minutes from right now that you will be able to, so they literally had to cath me for my transfer. It turns out my bladder was TOO full, so they needed to get some out anyway.
