I can’t beli it’s already Sept! L’s bday is in less than 4 weeks now and it feels like we were just celebrating his 1st!
Today: running with the boys, bagels/groceries and then maybe a park with DH and the boys, grilling for dinner
Tues: running, catching up
Wednesday: run, preschool, chores
Thursday: down day
Friday: run, preschool, chores
I want to run 27+ miles again this week and also maybe start working on some sewing projects again! Need to work on getting things ready for L’s party sooner than later because the weeks leading up are busier (watching our friends boys, soccer starts, etc).

August flew by!
Not much planned this week. Today is a lazy day. It’s raining so we don’t really plan on leaving the house.
I really need to find the motivation to workout before work, my workouts suck afterwards.
My mom moves down here this week. I pick her up Friday from the airport.
Saturday and Sunday H and I are going to Disney World for Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. H has already printed out all the menus and picked what he wants to get at each booth lol. Luckily we have similar tastes.
It feels like a Saturday. I think I have the beginnings of a sinus infection, boo.
No plans today. Dh is still sleeping, E is playing, I'm drinking coffee and reading.
Tuesday: E has a dentist appointment and it is his first official day of preschool (although last week was transition week so he had been in the class at least part time for a few days).
Wed, Thurs: I'm working.
Fri: no plans. I'll probably do this week's schoolwork then.
Sat: on call, hoping to stay home and watch college football
I’ve been kind of MIA the past few weeks, we’ve been so busy!!
I am off today, so I’m going to relax all day in preparation for the week. I might do a few chores just to not be too lazy haha.
I get my hair done on Thursday and we leave for WI on Friday for 4 days! Yay. Can’t wait. We have all sorts of fun stuff planned with my fam!
My vent, do you ever feel like you’re the only one who does anything in your house?? Yes my husband helps a little bit, but I do the budget, meal plan, make the grocery list, go grocery shopping, fold all the clothes, set up appointments etc etc. hubs has been helping a bit with the grocery shopping, but I still do majority of everything and it is exhausting!!! He works really hard at work, but I’m going to be starting an additional job to make some extra money so I’m not going to have time to do everything. Do you guys ever do huge batches of food at the start of the week and have it in the fridge?? That got long, I feel like such a complainer typing it all out, I am thankful and happy most of the time, just lately it’s been really bad.
I’m already feeling overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have going on this week. The downside to working from home is that I’m not used to having to leave the house every day anymore. lol.
Today: H is working until 2pm, then we’re going to my cousin’s house to hang out for a while and pick up some hand-me-downs.
Tuesday: Meeting with our potential doula. I’ve met her before but H hasn’t, so we’re giving him a chance to get to know her before we make our final decision.
Wednesday: Therapy appointment, finally. My first one since February.
Thursday: Endocrinology appointment, checking in on thyroid levels and annual scan results.
Also, I’m officially announcing at work tomorrow, and I’m really nervous about it. I’m worried that it’s going to negatively impact me, especially with end-of-year reviews and merit increases coming up soon. Ugh.
Lazy day today. Working the rest of the week. Waiting on my new phone to arrive- my phone stopped turning on/charging last week. Due to the holiday weekend, they couldn't mail the replacement until tomorrow. It's so weird being phoneless.

We're just doing stuff around the house today after a long weekend! We went to Ren Fest Sat and did game night last night so we got back late. So we're tired!
The rest of the week is pretty uneventful. A has her 9 month appointment tomorrow but that's all we have planned!

Got home from a long weekend away with the IL's today. We had a great time.
I had to go to my OB for an impromptu appt due to dizziness, vision changes, and headaches. Luckily nothing major is wrong but I was instructed to rest more and take it easy which is super hard since I just look around my house and see 5 million things that need to be done.
Not much planned for the week. This week should be easier than last week as DS has adjusted well to preschool.
melsamoony Glad everything is okay! Definitely feel you on looking around to see everything that needs done. One of the reasons I'm looking forward to going back to work: not looking at my house all day, every day.

Busy week! R has an appt with a cardiologist tomorrow morning (precautionary, we're not expecting any bad news) My parents are coming down tomorrow night and are taking R home with them Thursday for a few days. It will be his first time away from home without us but I have no doubts he'll do great.
We're all going to a wedding Sat so we're going to meet up at the hotel, that means we get to do the 4.5-5 hour drive with just one kid instead of 2, and it also makes it a bit easier for us to get out of the house that morning. This will be T's first road trip, I'm not too worried though because he's pretty chill overall (saying this will probably bite me in the butt, haha)
I'm really looking forward to the wedding, I think R is going to love it and both boys have ridiculously cute outfits that I'm excited about. Sunday we were planning to go to the boardwalk but the weather isn't looking too good, hopefully that changes. Then we're going back to my parents' Sunday night and my mom and I are making cookies for T's baptism Monday before we head home.
I have a ton of errands/running around to do all week too.

wineandcheese- yay for Disney and your mom being close again!!
HoneySpider- hope R’s appointment goes well and his visit with your parents! Good luck with the wedding and road trip- I hope T does great for you guys!
luv2rn4fun Nice job on the running!!! So impressive!
wineandcheese That sounds so fun at Epcot. Your pass is definitely worth the money!!!
pooh8402 Oh no, I hope it’s not a sinus infection.
Thanks! I am happy with the progress! Consistently running 25+ miles/week and my average pace on my “faster” days is around 9:00/mile while pushing both boys (vs closer to 10:00 when I started back 2 months ago). Sometimes I look down at the MapMyRun app and see a pace 6:xx...running a little downhill but still, it’s progress! The stroller is about 100 lbs between the boys and the stroller.

I was followed home by an older gentleman who just wanted to tell me my tire was going flat. I found a huge screw in my tire so I’m currently sitting at a tire shop. I can’t believe they are charging $22 to plug the tire. In NY there was a place that did it for free. If my tire was leaking air badly I would price around but it went from at pressure to flat driving 2 miles.
wineandcheese - Half of me is thinking that it was really nice of him to take the time to let you know about your tire, but the other half of me would be super creeped out at being followed by someone for any reason. At least they're able to patch it so you don't have to buy a whole new tire!

bk1 I want to try grocery pickup but H doesn’t want to. He says he enjoys shopping.
The moving company my mom is using all of the sudden doubled the price before picking up her stuff. I knew this was going to happen and told her not to do it. A friend was willing to drive a Uhaul truck for her and then fly home, but no. Apparently they tried to hit her up for another $1000 when they picked up her stuff but a friend was there and fought with them so she didn’t have to pay it, which tells me they are just trying to scam an older woman out of money. Once she gets here I want to see all the prices she was given, in writing so I can see what I can do. If anything, I just want to spread the word about their business practices.
Now DH has to work Saturday so we are just going to spend the day at Disney Sunday. The moving truck should be here Saturday so at least I’ll be home to give them hell.
Man cold has struck again. He had a slight fever last night (99.9) but you'd think it was 150 by how he's whining, lol. I feel for him, I know he doesn't feel good but seriously, he's being ridiculously dramatic. He slept on the couch and I'm out here pumping.. he's randomly making whimpering noises. Like.. you have a cold, come on, lol. Why are men so dramatic about being sick?

Ok, H has a higher fever now. I'll let him complain. Ha. I told him he should go to the walk in clinic and see what's going on. Hopefully it's nothing too serious or contagious! He has a half day of PTO left for the year so he can't really take time off (but he's working from home).

H has a double ear infection. Yikes. At least it's not really contagious so I don't have to worry too much about the kids getting sick. H does end up getting sick a lot more easily and worse than I feel most people do. Like this probably started as a cold and turned into the ear infection. He used to occasionally end up with bronchitis after a cold or sinus infection. So weird. Anyway, hopefully once these meds kick in he will be back to normal soon!
No Disney this weekend 😞 Now H has to work Sunday too. Hopefully he will have next weekend off and we can try for 2 days.
I’m getting ready to go pick up my mom from the airport. It’s a 2 hour ride both ways. She has no luck. Apparently the movers truck got into an accident. She was told her stuff is ok but we will see when the truck gets here on Monday.
I may already have a bottle of wine chilling for when I get home lol. H requested a blueberry wine since he will get home around the same time.
