I'd kill for a massage. I've been back to work since 8/23 and my neck has been paying the price. A waterpik (lame, but true). New running shoes. A cute bag to carry my pump in.
luv2rn4fun my base model Garmin was always accurate with stroller runs so I would look into why yours isn't.
I'm really bad about buying stuff for myself so I don't have much on my wishlist. Just splurged on a nice pump bag for back to work. I'm saving up for a new hair dryer. Maybe a new purse. We are expecting class action settlement money that DH wanted me to spend on a purse, but then we unexpectedly had to buy a car so not sure if the purse is still in the cards.
Thanks! I need to figure out how to reset it. Their customer support is great- my band broke in less than a year (my dads too) and they replaced both of them! I have been better with getting the GPS locked and it’s a little more accurate but still off. So frustrating...plus it always says I am running much slower than I am.
I doubt the Apple Watch will help though. I ran with my dads and it was annoying as well. He also doesn’t think it will fix my issues.
What Garmin do you have? I have the forerunner 230...
I have the Forerunner 235 - just like yours except it has the wrist heart rate monitor. This website might be helpful wrt resetting it: thewiredrunner.com/troubleshooting-gps-watch/#Forerunner230 Sometimes it's as simple as turning it off and then turning it back on again. You could also try googling your problem - I've had luck with finding fixes to Garmin problems that way. Their customer service line can also help you think up solutions. It's so weird to me that you're having this issue with stroller running - that definitely should not be happening!
DH is a runner and loves his Apple Watch for regular use but isn't the hugest fan of it for running. Just fyi...
I am very thankful for this thread- between you and ewall I am encouraged to find a solution. I know it’s inaccurate with steps while walking but was always perplexed with running because it’s using GPS (which should not rely on the arm swing motion like steps). It’s so variable and can be off by as much as 0.5 mi over a 5-6 mile run! It isn’t even consistent with the same mileage for a given route (or even an out and back on an individual run...2.4 miles out but only 2.2 miles for the way back). It’s odd and frustrating. And I don’t even look at it for pace any more because it’s never accurate and is so discouraging.

-A medium size crossbody bag, something I can throw some kid snacks, a diaper and a small pack of wipes in. -Brown flats. I have nude, and a cognac color but not dark brown. -Fun color flats. I have purple patent, burgundy suede, and silver leather but I want green, cobalt or yellow to wear with jeans. -Black ankle boots with a low heel. -New riding boots. I lost weight and my extra wide calf ones are too loose. My ankles are plenty small enough for regular width but my actual calves need wide shaft, so I’m a tough fit. Not everyone with large calves has cankles!
I specifically washed and ironed a t-shirt dress I like so I could wear it to lunch with MH and C last weekend. We got to the place and she wanted to sit in my lap and eat, not the high chair. Within five minutes she’d dropped food all over me. I was screaming to MH under my breath EVERYTHING I OWN HAS A FRIGGING STAIN ON IT.
I hope the food stains came out. I also hate ironing, so I am super impressed that you did that. I bought a steamer for that reason or I throw it in the dryer with a damp towel lol.

Does that uncrease stuff?
Which method? The steamer works well, but the dryer method depends on how wrinkled it is. If they're deep wrinkles, and I can't get around ironing, I will probably never wear it. #truestory

My husband works at Garmin (not in the fitness dept though) and he said there is a helpline you can call if you are having issues with a product!

Awesome! I had contacted support via email for band replacements but didn’t mention this issue. The support was really great! What an awesome company for your DH to work for!

We love it! Great family friendly company. Been with them 11 years now. We live close enough he can walk to work 😆. Plus he can run all their half marathons for free. Not my thing!

I lost my engagement ring a few months ago. We just had an anniversary and my bday in a couple weeks but we don’t really have the money to replace it. I’d like a cheaper, pretty non-diamond ring to wear in the meantime.
My favorite wedge sandals broke the other day and I haven’t been able to find anything to replace them.
vtdiamond , I bought a pair of Rothy's and I like them. I especially liked that I can take out the insole and out in my orthotics #oldlady
I don't have any yet, but def want a pair. Which ones do you have? I'm thinking of trying the points but the rounds look much more comfortable.
I have the round because I thought the same as you. I like the pointed toe, but I have found my feet don't like them and they ache as soon as I try on a pair of pointed toe shoes, so I assumed the Rothy's would do the same. I'd eventually get a pair of the loafers but I don't need anymore shoes right now. (Or that is what I am telling myself.)

DD has received a few dresses as gifts that always need to be ironed after they come out of the wash.

My birthday is coming up, and I just added the mypillow to my wishlist. It's something I'm curious about trying but don't feel like buying for myself, so seemed like a good wishlist item. I also want a new kindle paperwhite. I have a first generation kindle and I still love it, but I would love to have the backlight feature instead of having to worry if my clip on light is charged!

Alone time for sure. Last year dh got me a “shopping day and wardrobe” which I converted to stitch fix and I really like it. I’ve gotten maybe 6 boxes and all have been good except the last one.
I think I want a pair of Sperrys top sliders and some super soft (non fleece/hot) pajamas.

Also a weekend away with dh sounds really nice.
On the pajamas front, my mom bought me separates (a T-shirt and cropped pants) from Walmart for my birthday and they were a) cute, but also not fussy, b) super soft, c) wash really well and d) were probably less than $20 for the set. Brand is Secret Treasures.

DD has received a few dresses as gifts that always need to be ironed after they come out of the wash. Yeah, I’m not ironing baby clothes.
My MIL said something the other day about ironing a tshirt for my DD, and I just laughed and laughed. I can barely iron my own clothes, there is no way I'm ironing tshirts for a toddler.
