Weekend plans?!?

Who's doing what this weekend?

I'm working from home today and going to hang out in the clinic waiting room while my friend has her lumpectomy today. I might hang out at her place tonight, if she needs someone around.

Tomorrow, DS and I are driving across the state so on Sunday I can do Tough Mudder #5. I literally signed up last week and am so "ehh" about it, lol. Sunday will be mudding and then driving back home. I took off Monday morning to get a massage and chill.

I'm taking Owen out to go jump big jumps for practice tomorrow (at a facility about 2 hours away, so just a fun but long up-and-back kind of day).

M thinks I'm going to rally enough to join him at his coworker's BBQ in the evening. LOLOLOL. My Saturday evening plans involve a shower, a bottle of wine, and my PJs.

I have no set plans for Sunday, but will likely fit a Costco shopping trip in, and maybe "casual shop" and see if any clothing appeals to me for our vacation - we leave next weekend, woop woop!

I've been wearing frump clothes for too long so tonight we are getting a little dressed up and meeting one of my friend for drinks.

Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut and highlighted. The rest of the weekend we have no plans. There is an arts festival, a food and music festival and a professional cyclocross race. All sound fun and we have plans to hit up one or more of them. Just not sure which ones yet.

Tonight I'm going to meet up with a couple of friends/former trainees. They wanted to check out a speakeasy, so I made a reservation. I'm feeling a bit grumpy with one of them, but I'm going to try to set it aside and just have fun tonight.

Tomorrow I'm doing brunch with a friend. In the afternoon, I'll be going to a BBQ with a newer friend.

Nothing planned for Sunday yet. Probably laundry and hermiting.

I had a date last night! It was great and we talked and laughed for over 4 hours! Although, awkward, I found out that he's ELEVEN years younger than me.

He already asked to see me again and I accepted.

We leave on the 16th for Riu Palace. I'm not typically a beach vacation person, but I'm really looking forward to relaxing!

Tonight was a quiet night at home.

Tomorrow is errands and an eye appointment. I may decide to do contacts at the last minute...who knows.

Sunday is football.

The most important part of the entire weekend: staying as dry as possible. We are supposed to get between 3-5 inches of rain this weekend. That will be less than fun.

Had dinner last night with some girlfriends.

Was supposed to go to a pool volleyball party today but I canceled. I feel bad but I just did not want to go. Instead I’m going to go get my nails done and do some shopping.

Tomorrow is football.
