Today: bagels, very small grocery shop (did the bulk yesterday), night stop at the park on the way home, probably go for a walk after nap today
Tues: watching our friends boys. Hoping to run but will see how I feel (been fighting C’s cold since Thurs, thankfully it’s not too bad)
Weds: run, preschool
Thurs: run, easy day at home, maybe library story time if everyone is healthy
Fri: run, preschool, chores
No plans for the weekend. It’s our last weekend before soccer starts so hopefully we have some good family time, I get a run in, etc! We can still do this when soccer starts but the bulk of our Sat mornings are gone til mid Nov!
Oh, and I finalized Halloween costumes this weekend....C will be Lightening McQueen (neighbor had costume from last year she gave us) and L will be Nemo (friend is selling it for $10)! I was actually wanting to buy these costumes and am so glad I got them very cheap!!

No set plans this week. There is a Pride festival going on locally this weekend we might check out. I've been meaning to go for years but it's always around my sister's birthday, so we usually end up at my parents. This year she and my parents are going to Disney (I'm extremely jealous and a little sad she didn't ask me to come. Lol.) so no interference this time, haha.
luv2rn4fun I think we have costumes decided to. Well, E decided. Haha. He wants to be Superman, A will be Catwoman/girl, H will be Batman and I'll be Wonder Woman. I just need to buy costumes and hope he doesn't change his mind! At least A will be easy, I'll just have to get her a black onesie and pants and buy or make kitty ears and a tail, then maybe put whiskers on her face with eyeliner or something.
DH has a busy week at work so lots of solo parenting for me.
Volunteering today. I have a garden club meeting on Wednesday. Church picnic on Sunday, making a pie on Saturday for picnic. And I borrowed 5 books from the library on my Kindle so I should probably start reading now...
Allergies have hit our house hard. We skipped library class this morning and instead did a quick grocery trip to restock DH's lunch supplies and stopped for a PSL on the way home. Yummmm. Planning today to be a mix of lazy/rest, a few chores, and a few fun things. I'm going to make banana bread with the girls in a bit.
I actually have a meal plan for this week! And it's from the pantry/freezer! I'm trying to use up some of what we have and stop buying so much all the time. Feeling pretty motivated right now so that's awesome.
T - dropping girls at my mom's so I can go book C's birthday party. lunch with mom and grandma after W - storytime at the library Th - maybe see MIL? TBD F - storytime
DH might go fishing this weekend with his dad. Us girls don't have any plans, but I'm considering hitting up BFF and seeing if this weekend would be a good one for us to come have a play date.

We got home from my parents' last night so today feels like Monday - this week is going to fly by!
We were supposed to get our new roof today but yesterday they canceled because of the weather and now we don't know when we're getting it. Meanwhile, we're supposed to get hit with the hurricane later this week. Normally I wouldn't be worried but considering we have a hole in our roof and the interior is already deteriorating more, we are really anxious. At this point there's nothing we can do except pray our ceiling holds out. All I can say is thank goodness it's our bedroom and not one of the kids' rooms because we wouldn't be able to let them sleep in there.
Tomorrow is my birthday, nothing special planned. DH's birthday is next week so we were going to just go out for dinner one night this weekend to celebrate both but we'll see what happens with the weather.
Pretty sure I'm coming down with a cold which sucks.
Monday: I scheduled a same day doctor's appointment for an ear issue that turned out to not be a big deal. Got my ears flushed out, which wasn't super fun, but my ear doesn't hurt anymore. H and I also went on a maaaajor grocery shopping trip, and I had my first experience with a stranger asking me if I'm expecting and then wanting to talk about it forever.
Tuesday: H has a physical, and I need to make a list of things for him to remember to talk/ask about while he's there. lol.
Thursday: Therapy appointment, and then transitioning to EOW appointments moving forward.
Saturday: Hoping to go to my first perinatal support group meeting.
Sunday: I'm going to a DIY wood sign making workshop, which I'm actually really excited about. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house to do something fun, after the past two weeks of appointment after appointment after appointment.
We’re getting a new bed this week! We bought a king and I’m so excited. I just hope I like it as much as trying it in the store.
luv2rn4fun We’re moving DS1 to his big bed this week. He’s getting our old bed, so he’ll finally be out of of the crib, lol. DH asked if I was sad, but he climbs out to come get us, so being in a bed won’t be much different.

Good luck! I hope it goes well! C is still in his crib LOL. We have asked if he wants a big boy bed and so far it’s a hard NO. I did see him climbing a week or so ago and gave him the choice...he chose to not climb any more for now
I'm working today and Thursday. First appointment with my OB is tomorrow (although she's out sick today, hope she feels better!). Big consignment sale this weekend so I'm hoping to round out my winter maternity wardrobe and maybe find a "new" high chair or RnP.
My OB appointment is being rescheduled since she's out sick, boo. apparently for the next 2 weeks.
ETA: so I talked to my OB's nurse re: my new allergy med. Because it contains sudafed, it's a no. My OB pretty much has a blanket rule of no sudafed during pregnancy. I already called my allergist office to tell them, and they said that my allergist will call my OB directly to discuss. I asked her to wait like 24 hours because my doctor had surgery like, today.
In the meantime, I still can't hear.
Update as of 5 pm: my allergist is calling in steroids to get me some short term relief until I can actually see my OB in 2 weeks and talk risks vs benefits.

It's been a rough start to the week here. G and I were taken down by a terrible head cold on Sunday/Monday and neither of us are feeling well yet. We only stayed healthy for 4 days of school!
The start of the school year is always crazy but this year seems especially so. There have been so many changes and my students are so needy that this is the first time I've actually taken my lunch period to sit and relax for a few minutes.
On a positive note, my H got the promotion we were hoping for. Not only is it more money, it also gives him flexibility to work in an office much closer to home. I'm thrilled at the prospect of not having to wake our kids in the pitch black every morning and get them out the door by 6:30 AM. And on the flip side, H will be home much earlier in the afternoon and won't be frustrated by having endured an hour+ drive in traffic. This is going to be a HUGE difference for us all. It should start sometime in the next month or so.

Pretty normal week here. Hoping for some time to actually relax this weekend as we have been busy the past 4 weekends in a row.
Did a lot of cleaning today and am taking DS for his 4 year shots after school.
Back to school night tomorrow. I am excited to hear about all that the kids have been doing these past few weeks because DS isn't always easy to get accurate information out of after school.

Today went well! I had 2 tests to do that went ok. They normally don’t do both tests in the same day but didn’t want me to miss 2 days from work. It was a lot but happy I got them done. I’m still not done lol.

I hope you and G feel better soon Blue Moon. That’s really awesome with your H’s promotion! Congrats to all of you!
wineandcheese- glad today went well! I hope the rest goes smoothly and you get an offer!
C gave me his cold (he is still coughing too). I have been fighting it since last Thurs/Fri but actually feel the worst today (probably because yesterday was exhausting with 4 boys). I haven’t run in a week and I am getting annoyed. Using this down time to focus on L’s party since things get crazy starting on Monday.

Why are insurance companies so terrible? I've been going back and forth with them for MONTHS over a stupid copay I shouldn't have been charged. I also sent them an appeal about a bill I got because they charged as urgent care instead of a walk in clinic which it says right on the bill and I shouldn't be paying for that either. I sent it in July and got no response. They are also taking a ridiculous amount of time to respond to my messages and I don't have time to sit on hold to talk to someone. I'm really frustrated right now and wish it were easier to switch companies but then I'd have to pay way more. Ugh.

((Hugs)). It took be 3-4 months to get reimbursed for a copay I should not have had to pay (but the ultrasound place insisted it had to be collected at time of service, my parents had taken time off work to watch the boys, and we were all in agreement (ultrasound place, my doctor, me) that the original paperwork wasn’t coded correctly so I went through with it). It was so ridiculous...I spent hours on the phone between my insurance, the ultrasound business, and my doctor before being reimbursed.
