The kids will think any name is cool, at that age. My 5 year old has orange shirts and they just decided to be the Tigers. Completely unoriginal, but they love it.
You could just go with something like "The Superstars" or the "Superheroes" or something.
My big kids have team names like Thunder, Lightning, Storm, Kickers.
So you could do something Texas related like Dixie or Cowboys or Tumbleweeds or something rodeo related like Bulls or Rodeo Clowns, lol. Or go full resistance and name them Impeach Trump or We Miss Obama. The Kaepernicks?

Our leagues give every team a color and the kids vote on the name so teams are: the Green Dragons, the Pink Cotton Candy Princesses, the Purple People Eaters, etc. I’d let the kids pick and vote.
Yeah, let the kids pick- you'll get fabulous names like the mega-dinosaurs, the angry emoji faces, and the meatballs (all actual preschool team names).
My DS's team when he was little was The Grasshoppers. All of the teams formed that year and in that age group were named after bugs. The kids thought it was cool to be named that.
Our kids pick/vote for their team names. DS has been Green Machine, and now their name is Champions of Lightning lol. DD was Red Fire last year and their name this year is Blueberries!

I run our pre-school soccer program if you need any ideas / help. The biggest things at this age is no hands and which end of the field they are going for. I usually start with "unicorn / rhino soccer" - you have them put a cone on their heads and dribble from one end of the field to the other holding the cone. It keeps them from picking the ball up. My littles also love Red Light, Green light. Another popular game to practice dribbling and shooting is "Hit the Coach." You have them chase you around the field, and if they get you with the ball, you have to pretend to be whatever animal they want you to be. They also like "What time is it Mr. Wolf." They line up with their ball and have to ask you what time it is. You give them a number (I wouldn't go above 10) and they have to dribble the amount of times you say. The objective is that the ball doesn't get too far ahead of them. Everyone once in a while you yell "lunchtime" and chase the kids around as they scream like mad men. It's hysterical and they love it.
They will NOT play as a team, it's not part of their developmental processes yet. Little soccer is all about egocentric ME, and they won't pass. We usually refer to this age group as Bumblebee soccer since they tend to swarm after the ball.

These are GREAT tips. Thanks SO much. If you think of anything else I'm all ears!

My son played a team called the gray meatballs, lol. His team was the purple dragons.

My 4-y-o just started playing in a 4-5 league. Today at practice they did:
- Red light/green light while dribbling (on red light they need to put their foot on top of the ball to stop it)
- Stand in a circle and pass the ball to whoever the coach names (helps them learn names)
- Passing drill — kids run parallel to each other and pass the ball back and forth (the older 5s understood it, the younger 4s did not)
Guide them to a few options and let them provide some ideas, then vote. Works here. We’ve had the purple grapes and sapphire dragons based on shirt color, so you never know what they will come up with.

Yes, let them pick! When ds was this age, his team was the Ninja Ponies, lol.
