I think Danielle needs to stop taking in foster dogs, without checking in with him (that is the feeling I get from him), when she does not have the time to do the work.
Amber saying that Dave holding in his feelings makes her feel insecure is a bit laughable because pretty much everything makes her insecure.

I could see Bobby eventually snapping...he had that sound of "I've had enough" in his voice when he was explaining how much dog poop he's had to cleanup. Danielle likes to be taken care of but that also wears on the other spouse.
Amber is soooo insecure...her looks, her cooking, does she have confidence in anything?! Although I didn't like Dave's comment that it worries him that she's been drawn to the wrong type of man, or however he phrased it. Idk I just though that was weird.
Yessss Tristan needed to go through every nook and cranny of that phone! My theory is he didn't want to uncover something, so safer to turn the blind eye. Give me 5 seconds with that phone I'd be all "and what's this?" lol.
Long shot, anyone watch 7 Year Switch? It comes on right after but I watch the next day since that's so late. It has Dr. Jessica on it and some baloney "therapy" where you switch spouses for 2 weeks to save your marriage. Looks like it did more bad than good and everyone winds up bonding with their fake spouse lol.
How on earth did Danielle manage to foster dogs while living alone? She is out of the house for the majority of the day and then is a hard sleeper who won't get up with them at night. And I wish she would find a phrase other than "puppy poop"

She used to live closer to her work; her 3-hour commute is new since moving in with Bobby.

That rubbed me the wrong way too. I also didn't like how literally he took her comment about wanting to fast forward to their hypothetical children being five. At least Amber is being realistic about how difficult it will be to have a newborn. He's in for a rude awakening when/if they have a baby.

kitkat1502, I've watched most weeks of the Switch show (but haven't seen last night's episode). From the very beginning I was like, "This is a TERRIBLE idea!" Of course they're going to "fall in love" with their switch spouse when they're only together for 2 weeks in a beautiful house, not working or doing anything related to real life and just going on dates every night.

Right?! Angela and Charles really bugged me, Angela is acting like this was a match-making show...they really fell for each other. Also IMO not a good idea for someone who has cheated to do a show like this...umm he's already proven he has been unfaithful so now you put him with a beautiful woman in an incredible house with no real-life challenges and expect him to want to work on his marriage?!

I agree about that phrase, because if you are single still in some sense everyone has been dating or with the wrong person.
Her comment about the age of the kids, I agree he took it too seriously, but given how she kind of dropped the ball with the laundry, I wonder if he wonders how much of everything will fall on his shoulders. And, I do think her freaking out over every small thing would give someone pause as to how they will handle being a parent. I think those are legit questions to ask.
Danielle needs to help or stop fostering dogs. Does she even check with him first since he is doing most of the work? It annoys me and I don't even love him.
kitkat1502, I have watched Switched. I have not gotten as into this season as I was with the last one.

Is Amber as truly insecure as she appears on the show? I feel like she’s forever talking about how insecure everything makes her feel. No, Dave is not perfect and he can be judgmental, but she had a tantrum over socks!!! Socks!! She was giving herself a pat on the back for working full time while adjusting to marriage and doing the show as if it were something out of the ordinary. Dave may take some of her comments too seriously, but he’s right to be concerned. She wants to get pregnant ASAP and he’s seeing yellow flags, if not red ones. I understand that she’s 36 years old. I had my son at nearly 38, I know the feeling of needing to beat the clock…but she married a stranger!!!! (Interestingly, I married my husband after a short “courtship”, seven months after our first date. A good friend’s husband asked me if I was sure that trying to have a baby with a man a hardly knew was the best idea. I was incredulous at the time, but with a bit of perspective now, I can see why he had concerns. Things worked out, we’ve been married for 12 years and have a solid relationship, but it was a gamble.)
I’m torn on how I feel about Bobby and Danielle. On one hand, their relationship seems kind of shallow and awfully one-sided. Bobby does a lot of the work and Danielle reaps the benefit. But…outside of the foster’s diarrhea, they seem happy. They seem fairly well-suited for one another. I wonder what their life would like if Danielle didn’t have such a commute. Right now, he seems to pick up the slack to compensate for her long drives, but what would change if she had two more hours at home a day? Also, she needs to learn to share how she feels with Bobby. He poured his heart out to her and she just sat there.
Tristan and Mia…it was quite interesting to me that Danielle, apparently, counseled Mia to have a back up plan just in case. I wonder if she knows something that we don’t. I don’t think moving is necessarily bad, but I think Tristan needs to realize that she’s doing this for him. I wish they’d done separate pro and con lists, I think Tristan would have realized that she’s giving up a great deal for him.
Agree with all of the above. I just have to reiterate how terribly awful Danielle's eyebrows are. They're seriously the first thing I see when I look at her. They are and soooo dark and look like caterpillar brows.

I think Dave's concerns were valid. Girl was freaking out about smashing garlic.
I think Mia's sister has done her no favors. She seems to go for tristan a lot and it makes no sense to me.
At some point, Bobby will get burned out. It will be exhausting to always be the care taker and to not get it in return.

I am watching right now, but there is one trivial thing that just drives me BONKERS!! There is a stock clip before a segment where the Texas flag is flying upside down! I am born and raised here in Texas and it's just a super pet peeve! LOL
And I don't like Amber; at her age, I feel that she should be a little more secure about who she is.
Agree with all of the above. I just have to reiterate how terribly awful Danielle's eyebrows are. They're seriously the first thing I see when I look at her. They are and soooo dark and look like caterpillar brows.
And did you notice how they changed from scene to scene? Sometimes they were super dark and thick, other times medium dark and thick and once, in an interview clip I think, they actually looked more normal. Anyway, every time I see her eyebrows I think of Jason Alexander in Shallow Hal and his "hair".

Why have those super dark brows and then dye your hair blonde?
I feel like Bobby and Danielle are more aware of looking good on camera/protecting their images, or something. It just doesn't seem totally genuine there. I think Bobby is patting himself on the back saying he was ready to get married before he went on the show and he's trying to be this image of "perfect husband"...but it can't last forever. I could see the potential for resentment between both of them. PLUS HER EYEBROWS!
NomadicMama - I think Danielle thinks Tristan and Mia won't last so that's why she was encouraging the backup plan. I don't know, there's still something about Mia I just don't like. I could almost see them working though just because Tristan seems so committed and flexible.
Dave does seem a bit judgmental, but Amber is an insecure mess...she's so annoying! Amber has said a few times now that the only reason she did this was to have a family. I think she's more interested in that than anything else.
1) Somehow I thought it was longer and laughed when I realized it was only a two week swap, it felt so much longer I thought it was at least a month.
2) I feel like Tony was the only one who was like focused on making his marriage better through the process...and maybe Danny's wife, I forget her name. Most if not all of the couples need to just get divorced.
I am sure that is somehow against the rules of the show to do this before the show aired.
Wow! I'm shocked SHE'S the one who filed. Also surprised they allowed her to file while the show was still airing.
Yeah you'd assume you have to remain quiet per the contract. What does Tristan still see in her? I'm curious if they ended up signing another lease or whatever since he had such a tight timeline to get to Houston.
I'll be curious to see what they say on decision day? I know I say it every year, but they must put it in the contract or give them a bonus to "stay married" on decision day to make it look like it works.
As always I'm a week behind, but this really isn't the most dramatic season yet as they said. After Mia's arrest it's been pretty boring. I think last season had more drama.

Dave's concerns are valid to a point. I hate to say this, but why is Amber so desperate for a baby if she just wants a potty trained, (hopefully) sleeping through the night child? It's almost like she should adopt a child at that age, but I get the want for a biological child. I think that gives Dave reason for pause. I wonder if he plans to get up in the night with his future child, or if he's upset that his wife won't do all of the work...esp in this case where it seems like she would do none of the work. Her roots were there and then not there in the clips. Man she has dark hair.

Did you watch this week's episode? She is so insecure. I hate to say this, but I understand why she is single. She is not a bad person, but I cannot imagine being with someone that needs that much constant reassurance.
