If it rains tomorrow my plans to have ten six year olds swim (we are hosting boys night) will not work. What can I do with ten six year old boys for two hours? Pizza will happen but I need ideas to contain the chaos.
Desperate y’all. This week is too much.
My best idea currently is “scavenger hunt! My black suit jacket is missing and I need it for a meeting on Tuesday! Find it!”
We can’t transport all of them - it would be chaos. They have these at least quarterly and I was informed it was our turn to host — I wanted to say go to HE$& because three kids and work and dealing with my mom and DD being sick (she’s missed 25% of the school year and they are threatening court - which I thought that was why we had a medical 504!?!) and DH traveling still and puppies and we host Halloween and NYE so really??
I like the LEGO idea and we have 800 million legos and a dining room table.
Anyone have minute to win it games I can use to break up chaos?

Building competitions. Coolest Lego car, tallest tower that can stand on its own, fastest Lego car to go down a ramp. Best Lego ramp that can support a Hot Wheels car race.
Let them play camping. Build tents or forts with sheets. Build a tent village. Bring out marshmallows and let them have a marshmallow fight from their forts, seeing who can lob the most marshmallows over the other side’s walls. (You can color code the marshmallows with a marker dot on the end.)
I am not creative, but the last birthday party we went to was in their garage. They had sports games set up- foozeball, basketball, and they decorated parents as mummy's I think, and they had the game on in the background.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Do not do marshmallows inside. They squash and are a mess and impossible to clean up. Especially with 6yo boys. I have one and they do a marshmallow shooter thing at cub scouts and it was a disaster. If you do, make a safe covered zone where no one is walking to shoot them into.
