My weekend was really awesome! Friday it was a billionty degrees (WTF Mother Nature?) so I ran a few errands and then came home and read. BF came over after he was done reffing so we caught up about the week, since I hadn't really talked to him this week (we text, but not about big stuff).
Saturday morning I volunteered at our local suicide awareness walk. We had such a good turn out and raised a lot of money! BF came along and met a bunch of my people and my mom. I went to a fitness expo with my mom after the walk, and she drove me nuts talking to EVERYONE about EVERYTHING lol. I ran into xh's ex-fiancé there lol. I wanted to high five her for being smart enough to not marry him, but I held back! Then Saturday night I went to a drag show with friends. I may have drank a little too much as there are some pics I don't remember lol! BF picked me up and I crashed at his place.
Yesterday, we just lounged around his place most of the day. I even kinda watched football with him lol. Then home to chill with DS, who now has a gf and is going to the homecoming dance with her! DD also called to tell me she got into a sorority, which is way out of her comfort zone, so I'm proud of her!!

Weekend was good.
Friday I went to yoga after work and it seriously wiped me out. We had dinner and then I mock packed for my vacation. I started doing this capsule wardrobe and I'm a believer! It used to take me hours to figure out the right combo of clothes/shoes/etc. I literally spent 10 minutes pulling stuff out of my closet and I have more than enough room in my carry on. Win!
Saturday it was effing hot. I ran 3 miles and then went to a cemetery tour with a local photography club I'm in. I sweat so bad that a brochure I had in my pocket was wet when I was done. Ew. We went back to the photography store after the event where they had pizza etc. for us. I ate and chatted with a bunch of people. P and I went to dinner later that night.
Sunday was morning yoga. Then I kind of lounged around all day, reading and planning for vacation. It was well-needed!
Friday I went out with a friend and partway through the evening about friend joined us, which changed our plans but it was fun.
Saturday I missed water fitness because I still hadn't put it in my calendar at its earlier time, but that has now been rectified. I relaxed most of the day, then went to book club for our 90s movie night. I brought butternut squash mac & cheese and tater tots from Trader Joe's because I was feeling too lazy to cook. There was so much delicious food and we all had a great time talking all night.
Sunday I went and got a mini facial (30 min) and ran some errands. In the evening I had dinner with the tattoo artist I used to date and sometimes hook up with. It was just dinner and when we were back at his place I got really sad about things with my grandma and cried. He handled it okay, mostly he didn't know what to do. I'm sure he had been thinking we'd have sex, but clearly picked up that wasn't happening given my mood. Honestly, I also realized that as much as I care about him as a person, I don't want to hook up.

It was a good weekend!
I came home from work to a clean house on Friday, since DH wanted to invite friends over, and I told him only if the house was clean lol. We had fun hanging out with them.
Saturday, we lazed around all day. It was beautiful.
Sunday, I was supposed to go flying, but after driving 90 minutes up to the airport and sitting around staring at the rain and clouds for 4 hours, they decided to cancel all glider flying for the rest of the day. So that was annoying. I made my way back into town by way of a couple wineries and then taught a few classes.
My weekend was pretty good for not having plans. Friday night I hung out at home. H bought a sonos system and our house sounds amazing now, followed by the hue lights he wanted I feel like my house is looking really cool. I had issues with the cost of the things he wanted until he reminded me he's wanted all of it since we bought the house and it's what he wanted to do to "nest." I am loving it. I've cleaned the house and being able to jam out to my favorite music all day and hear it everywhere is really nice.
Saturday I went out to a local german restaurant and watched my soccer team win. Some friends of mine intown from LA met us there and hung out for a bit. They were blown away by the team supporters singing and banging drums and just being rowdy.
Sunday worked on a side business and then chilled. It was nice.
I took a design job, it doesn't start until Oct. 1 so I've been enjoying the freedom of going to midday yoga classes and just doing whatever I want.
