We had this clock. DD would bring it into our room to wake us up and tell us it was broken because it wasn’t turning green.
My kids recently "lost" theirs. I was convinced it was at their dad's house and that he had taken it. Turns out, my darling cherubs have hidden it somewhere in their room.
k3am,twinmomma, Hahaha that's awesome. My kid has tried to tell me that it won't turn green and it was broken too, I marched him upstairs twice to show him that it did turn green and was just fine. He hasn't tried it again recently.
His new thing now is to come downstairs and tell me he wet the bed, because he knows we will just let him in our bed and clean it when we get up. Except he hasn't wet the bed or his underwear. He just needed an excuse to come downstairs.

I can see DD2 doing this. She is really motivated to get into that bed. Especially when H is out of town. It’s like she knows that I’m the soft touch. DD1 is pretty much incoherent at night and if she wakes up I just point her back to bed and she collapses.
Maybe I should get one of those clocks for the little one. I expect she would still just tell us she needs snuggles. Thankfully we seem to be over the wake ups for the moment.
