Last June, I came on here, asking for help with my dogs who were barking when I left my apt. This became disruptive to my neighbors. A few of you suggested the Citronella Bark Collars.
I read reviews on Amazon.com and 90% of the reviews stated it was a great product. The other 10% stated it stopped working for no reason.
Sure enough, I've been using these awesome products since last June, and they both crapped out on me.
They were a/b $90 (total) and I didn't want to invest unless I had too again. I emailed Innotek (brand) and told them my issue.
They sent me back an email with instructions on how to "de-clog" the device (as the Citronella over time can clog it up). I followed their instructions, but the product wouldn't work.
With my proof of purchase they are sending me two new units! Of course I had my receipt online from my Amazon (history) orders.
I know some people often question which bark collars are good to get. I stand behind this one 100%. ;D
That's great! We went through two of the Premier ones, and between the batteries being expensive ($7 each) and the first one not working, we stopped using it when we found that Fancy was not responding to them (she would bark until the spray was all gone and keep barking). But she is the one who needs mega doses of Prozac! I'm not sure if the tip size is the same, but we have a bunch of the Premier refills (I ordered a big lot and we didn't use them all). If you want to try one and see if it works, I can send you the rest for cheap. I'm glad you had such a good experience with Innotek.
Thanks. I actually ordered a ton myself, so I am good in that department.
If you don't mind me asking and may be you mentioned it in the past, how much does Fancy weigh and what dosage of Prozac is she on?
Linus is on Prozac, weighs 13 lbs and is up to 5 mg at this point. We started on May 1 with 2.5 mg for two weeks, now up to 5 mgs, and I haven't seen ANY changes. I am getting so frustrated, but trying to remain patient!
