Help me dress for a softball game. I'll get a t-shirt, so I don't want to wear leggings. What should I get? Joggers?
Are you playing in the game or just watching?

H and I went to the weirdest concert last night put on by "Undertow Music." It was a living room tour and the concert was legit in someone's living room. 40 tickets sold. Probably the best show, too. I told my mom if another artist we like is looking for space for a living room tour I'm offering up her living room since it's huge.
I have two days of work left before I’m done. So it’s crunch time trying to get everything wrapped up both at work and the house has my stress level is ridiculous.
There was a dog napping down the street. Our street isn’t a major thru street in the development as we are near the back if you don’t live on it or one of the two off of it - there really isn’t any sense in going down it in a car, we have a lot of foot traffic as it’s quiet to walk and we connect into the trail to the school. A car stopped in front of a different neighbor’s house some one snatched a Pug and they took off. It sounds like the owner was out in the yard with them when it happened. She has been returned home this morning.
I signed up to go to a networking under 40 thing tonight. I've never been to something like this, so I hope it's not a disaster. I hate "networking" but this one makes it sound like this is for friendly and business contacts, so hopefully it's a little less formal than the networking sessions at conferences I've attended in the past.
At least it's at a brewery, so having a beer or two should make it a little easier to strike up a conversation.
I got the new iPhone XS last night. I'm still kind of reeling from the cost but my 6+ was dying a slow death. We had an absolutely horrid time trying to get all of my stuff from my old phone on to the new phone, apparently I never backed up my 6+ the entire time I owned it, whoops. At least now I've signed up for the Cloud. I also didn't get to play with my new phone last night because of our issues transferring my data so now it's sitting on my desk next to me taunting me LOL I also didn't get to bed until after 1:30 and was up for the day at 5:30, so there's that.
I currently have a post-it on my desk with the words vomit, norovirus, and puke. Exposure therapy is not only difficult and painful, but also embarrassing!

There’s an artist we like that has concerts like this pretty frequently and I’ve always been tempted but thought it might be weird to be in some random’s living room. Is there seating? Drinks? Bathrooms for 40? Is it really just a front and they are going to dismember us?
So it wasn’t weird? I know some aren’t literally in a living room but they don’t tell you until you buy the tickets so I haven’t had the nerve to do it yet.
I submitted my MBA applications last night. Now it’s just a waiting game. Between this and waiting to be able to tell my mom about our trip, I need to pick up a new hobby or something to distract me, lol.
I also submitted an application to be a volunteer with a nursing home or assisted living place to visit with the residents. Hopefully that comes through soon.
So ready to get through today and tomorrow and have it be the weekend.
I didn't see a WW thread so I'll put this here - I had my weekly weigh-in today and I'm only down 0.2 lb. I know it's a marathon and not a sprint, but I've been doing so well. I've been PMS'ing and am due to start my period on Saturday, someone please tell me it is that! Hopefully, I'll see a good drop next week or the week after my period.

It was very weird, but very worth it. This was in a living room, there was one bathroom but that didn't pose a problem. It was BYOB floor seating, they suggested bringing a cushion. We managed to get chairs since we were one of the first to arrive (they had about a dozen chairs.) The host provided bottled water.

Well, that’s not as creepy as I feared! Thanks! Maybe I will get my nerve up.

THAT'S CRAZY! But I also thought you meant something like this, and had to re-read.

Freezing my butt off at the airport because I forgot my sweater at home.
We surprised DS this morning with a trip to universal Orlando. He is completely pumped for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (as am I). His face when we told him this morning was priceless.
My paycheck has been clearing my bank early (some perk about direct deposit), so I paid all of my 10/1 bills already this morning. I also bought some math books and flash cards for DD. For some reason this year, she's really struggling in math.
BF left yesterday and god it was so hard to get to sleep last night. I'm going to need a billion cups of strong tea to make it through today. I did watch Nappily Ever After last night, which was on my weekend-watch list. I loved the message, but the movie was just okay IMO. Sanaa Lathan is gorgeous, but I'm not a huge fan of her acting or maybe it's the roles/writing/direction. Or maybe I'm not watching her better films.

In light of the Kavanaugh revelations I have been in an F all men mood lately and something that happened this morning has me absolutely incensed. My company and an affiliate share office space (for now - our new office is being renovated). While we have been sharing, they are responsible for ordering paper, toner, coffee, plates, etc., for everyone, Other company’s admin somehow forgot to order paper and there was no letter size paper in the entire office. This was discovered at 5:30 last night after she left. Once she came in this morning, she went out to buy some, and placed an order for more online. Fine. Except she’s like 5’ and 100lb and I’m pregnant (but no one besides her knows that) and a case of paper is like 50lb. All of the rest of the people in the office at that time are men, and not one offered to carry the paper in from her car. Instead, I took out this big cart, we loaded the paper, got it in the elevator, and the 4 bosses (2 hers, 2 mine - each able bodied, over 6’ and averaging probably 270lb - so definitely could handle a case of paper without a cart) literally stared at us as we brought it in and unloaded it. As I put the cart back in the closet, I said “I feel like Beyoncé: who run the world?” other company’s admin “Girls” ::more staring:: raaaaage
I'm slightly hungover after celebrating a friend's bday last night. Everyone else in attendance gets to sleep in and I'm at work. I'd give anything for a breakfast taco right now.

I started back to the gym yesterday after making the decision I'm not going to let melanoma and these side effects rule my life. While it's definitely not helping with my swelling issues, it makes me mentally feel better. I met with the GI DR yesterday to follow up on my celiac diagnosis and he said the swelling (it's in my whole body, even evident on a CT and MRI) is all due to my low albumin and protein levels. So, literally everything I eat I'm making sure has a good amount of protein in it to hopefully get it all under control so then I can get into this clinical trial in Maryland.
Today I'm back in the office after traveling most of last week and then being on vacation and then remote this week. I'll be changing office locations in the building for my new role, which I'm actually excited because I feel like it's the move I need to make to feel like I'm actually in the new role...which I realize sounds dumb.
@sameoldstory I got the Xs a few days ago and upgraded from a dying 6 Plus as well. OMG, that cost plus accessories hurts my soul and I wish I could have stayed with the 6. I definitely enjoy having a smaller phone (yet same screen size) but aside from that, the additional storage space (64 - 256), and it being a bit faster, I'm not all that impressed.
