I'm going to look up the ingredients on my face products, but as of right now I don't think I've been using any of the ingredients mentioned. I haven't used the bite mask for a while, because I'm concentrating on the glamglow balm. However, I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day, and am always over stretching my skin between flossing, taking trays in and out, and taking the elastics off and on. So my offenders very well may be exactly what I think they are. I know 2 of the 3 toothpastes I use regularly have fluoride, so that will be a pain in the ass to buy new tubes and replace them in my teeth bags that I keep everywhere.

I had the same issue a few years ago and came across that same post. I was also using the Bite mask, which further irritated it. I threw out my Bite products and NARS lipsticks, and switched to an SLS free toothpaste, and it’s been mostly under control now for about two years. Steroid cream aggravated the flare ups and I have a prescription for Protopic which healed the rash.

My lips have been a little dry and I started using the bite lip mask and I think it’s making them worse, so this is interesting. I’m going to try it a few more days, but I don’t have high hopes. I went from a tad dry to feeling tight and chapped.

I don’t usually post on this page, but I had major issues with irritation around my mouth for a couple years. I found that I can only use a certain toothpaste (Hello with fluoride, toms did not help) and I only use aquaphor around my lips. I am also very sensitive to sunscreen and face wash. I use cera ve gentle wash and do not use a daily sunscreen. I apply a mineral sunscreen and wash it off when I’m inside again.
It’s a big pain, but my mouth has finally cleared.
I personally had a lot of allergies triggered when my 6 year old was born, including food allergies I’d never had before and this started around the same time.
