Just curious if you find yourself using a certain travel app over and over again? Especially if it helps you find good flight deals. I'm trying to find a way to get deals on flights with no certain location in mind. There are so many places we want to go and we all have passports so if the price is right we would be interested.
Not apps but I follow the Points Guy on FB and get emails from Scott's Cheap Flights for airfare deals. Scott's let's you specify your region and a pay version will narrow it down to your home airport(s).
I said this in another thread but I really like Google flights. You can put in your dates and your home airport and it’ll show you flight prices around the world.
We actually begin most of our vacation planning with Google flights. We found amazing deals to Iceland and Colombia that way.
A lot of those fare alert sites don’t really work for us because our dates (and to a lesser extent, flight times) are the limiting factor. We’re always flying over holidays and school breaks.

When I do this it's only showing me destinations within the U.S. what am I doing wrong? I'd love to see international destinations.

That’s weird. I assume you tried zooming out? It might work better on desktop than mobile.
You could also try entering something like “Europe” as the destination.

I use Pomelo Travel and Scott's Cheap Flights for flight alerts. I tend to have better luck with Pomelo, but they're both good. Last year I found tickets out of my tiny midwestern airport for $550 to Paris with only one stop in Minneapolis.
Scott's Cheap Flight is great for flight alerts, and then I use Google flights to confirm. I have better luck searching on Google Flights for international destinations from a PC than on my phone/tablet.
