Is it legit to confuse Kyle Chandler and Ron Livingston

My husband says no. His evidence is their respective ages and that "Ron Livingston is always the comic relief guy"

I say yes. My evidence is middle aged white guys with all of their hair, that is dark, who are famous but not superstars and have spent most of their respective careers on television. Therefore calling Ron Livingston "Kyle Chandler" when I saw his face in the Hulu icon for his new show is totally understandable.

I agree that Kyle Chandler is preferable in all circumstances.

I'm just saying it's not insane to confuse them in a small photo.

Like, my husband said "name two more dissimilar actors" and then rolled his eyes when I said "the Rock and the guy who played Mose on the Office." Which, I'm right.

Yes. But Kyle Chandler has aged better IMO. They really dyed and made up Ron Livingston and you can tell.

ETA and it makes him look more Kyle-like.

Team you. If they're side by side and you cant tell them apart - that's different. But in a small photo? Very easy to confuse.

Also I'm laughing at "name two more dissimilar actors." Most of them - all of them? Danny DeVito and anyone else? George Clooney and anyone else?

They are certainly similar. Like, when I see previews with a quick shot of either I always have to figure out which one is which. But Kyle Chandler is WAY hotter. Mmmmm, coach.

Absolutely. I didn't know either of those actors by name, so I googled Ron Livingston first and thought "Oh, the guy from FNL!" Then I googled Kyle Chandler. Ha. They look a ton alike!

You are correct to state that the two men may be confused with one another.

Livingston is way cooler, for Office Space and Band of Brothers.

everyone is referencing him on Office Space and my first thought was him as Berger and was instantly like, nope. Hated him on that show.
