Timeshare Recommendations?

Anyone have a timeshare? BF and I are interested in purchasing one eventually, but neither of us like the high-pressure tactics that timeshare people sometimes use, and we like to think a major purchase through before we buy! So, any recommendations? Programs you like or don't like? Pros? Cons? Tips for getting a good deal? TIA!

My parents own a Bluegreen timeshare and H and I have used it a few times. The nice thing about this one is that you are awarded point and can use them towards any of their resorts. We've been to Aruba twice, Wisconsin Dells, and may go to Orlando in the next 1-2 years.

I don't think my mom would buy again though due to our location. Most of the resorts are on the east coast, so we have to fly to get to almost all of them. It is also hard to get a reservation where people want to visit (Florida and Aruba) so you have to make those reservations like a year in advance.

There's always pluses and minuses to owning a timeshare, so you'd have to look at what type of vacations you want before deciding. If you have more specific questions about Bluegreen, let me know.
