will browse a few holiday sets too to find something else to use up my points.

I’ve been watching a Youtuber lately who is doing a no-buy year, with the rule being that once she has used all the products she has in a category (ex- sunscreen), then she can repurchase one of that product.

Instead of a complete, flat out no-buy of anything at all, I might try doing this in January.

I’ve been going back and forth about getting the ABH Sultry palette. I don’t have any ABH palettes and I’m dying for some more cool toned palettes. I finally got into an Ulta to swatch it and it’s so gorgeous in person. The silver shade has a hint of a pink undertone and all the shimmers are like really sparkly. I’m hoping for a good beauty break this Wednesday and I’m getting it with my 20% off coupon. Actually I wouldn’t mind if the beauty break sucks cause I’d rather just go get it instead of waiting for shipping lol.

Has anyone tried LA Girl concealer? They have a ton of colors - I typically can’t find the right color for my skin tone and their white concealer may help me mix shades to get the right color, and they’re cheap ($5) where if I bought and it didn’t work it wouldn’t feel like a waste. I’ve seen good reviews online but I want “real world” experience.

I also had never purchased an ABH palette and the Sultry palette caught my eye. I went ahead and ordered it (along with the Norvina palette) and it gets delivered today!  It looks so pretty and I can't wait to play with it.

I placed my order with last week's beauty break.  I love the Hempz products, so for me that was a good beauty break.

Haha I couldn’t wait. I picked up Sultry today and also the new little highlight/lipgloss set from Becca with my 20% off coupon. I’m maxed out on samples right now so it’s fine and i really hate how long shipping takes for my area. I can’t wait to play around with it tomorrow:)

Mine just got delivered a little while ago and it's so pretty in person!  I will be going to work with glittery eyes tomorrow!  I also picked up that Becca set when it first came out (the one with the mini lilac highlight and gloss). I really like the highlighter in that set.

I went to Ulta and used my 20% off last night. There were two or three things I ended up putting back (reminding myself it's 20%, not 50% off). The most expensive thing I got was a replacement Benefit Dandelion blush because my current one is almost empty. I was tempted to get an original Naked palette on sale, but I haven't hit pan on any shades on the one I have now, so I talked myself out of that, too. What I really wanted was an awesome lipstick, but nothing grabbed my eye.

I got my Naked Cherry blush/highlight palette yesterday. I just love the color of the blush on my skin tone. I didn't have anything in my collection that color.

I need to find a dupe for Jeffree Star's Unicorn Blood liquid lipstick. Temptalia is of no help, because they only have a dupe of the bullet lipstick and that dupe is a brand I also don't buy.

I just got my ABH Sultry Palette. I think that the folks at ABH are so into warm tones that they don’t even recognize a cool tone anymore. I can’t believe that they market this as a cool-toned palette. There are four sparkly gold shades that look almost identical to me. One is SUPER sparkly and the others are maybe a little less sparkly. But still very warm gold/copper tones. There are about 6 colors that I do like (which is above average for me when it comes to palettes) so I guess it is a win assuming I don’t have an allergic reaction (I had a reaction to modern renaissance but I’m hoping it was all the reds and that this one won’t bother me).

I effing HATE hosiery. Either the tights are too small and cutting into me at the waist, while simultaneously running the risk of my toe punching a hole in them, or they are too big and I'm constantly hiking them back up my legs.

I just used my Ulta points and got the following for a grand total of $18. That Clinique foundation is my new HG. Covers without going masklike, doesn’t settle into my lines, lasts all day. I have my eye on a NYX palette too. Can I justify it?



Now I can switch gears to Sephora lol. I’m pretty disappointed with the holiday sets this year so I may sit it out. I really don’t NEED anything.

Yesterday I was at CVS and they had a whole section dedicated to K-beauty. I haven't tried most of the brands but there was a Holika Holika cleansing oil to foam cleanser I'd like to try.

Even after my 20% off sale purchases at both stores, I'm over $350 away from making Rouge at Sephora and Platinum at Ulta for next year. There's no way I'll spend that much either place between now and December 31. I don't think I've missed a year at the top tier of either (well, I guess Diamond is now the top tier at Ulta, but you know what I mean) since 2011.

I picked up Mac’s Soft and Gentle highlighter with my 20% coupon from Ulta. I’ve been wanting it for awhile and it’s gorgeous. I wish I had picked it up sooner lol. I thought it was interesting that there were 2 different people trying to get Soft and Gentle at the same time I was. The Mac employee was like what’s going on haha.
