Our cleaning people come every week. When we were initially costing out a cleaner, the cost was cheaper, but not significantly so. We never asked about pricing differences when we got the next set of cleaners.

We increased ours to weekly when my sister and niece moved in. They did not decrease the price, but I didn't mind since we had a whole other 2 people living there.
Ours come every other week and I'm feeling a bit dissatisfied. We are on our third one so I wonder if my expectations are too high. For what it's worth, our neighbors have been cycling through the same ones as us so we are on the same page.
We are finding cob webs in corners like she isn't moving the bench, chairs, picture stand, etc. when she cleans the floors. Also dust on dressers and toilets have staining. Do yours take care of all dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, all floors?
mellym, I have found that with long-term cleaners, they tend to occasionally let stuff go. If they miss it one visit, they should, theoretically, hit that area the next. It's not always the case, but I usually just send a text requesting they take care of it the next time.

We had weekly cleaners, then dropped down to bi-weekly. Honestly, I'm thinking of having them come weekly again. It was cheaper on a per week basis. And it got me to pick up the house more often so that they could actually clean and not spend all of their time shifting my piles.
We have always done an every-other-week cleaner. Which has been great. For a long while, it would be too much effort to get the house “ready to clean” more than twice a month. Now, that I am on a de-clutter kick (THAT took some work!) and have a clean house almost every day, I don’t need her more than 2x a month.
