I don't watch anything in the mornings. DH has the local news playing in the background. His morning tv consumption has dwindled recently because he has to cast it from his phone/computer to the tv now, and sometimes that's just too much to think about as early as we get up.
You cut the cord, huh? We got some rabbit ears because all the casting was too much before coffee.
We usually have MSNBC on. The time zone means I sleep through Morning Joe, and only get the good people, like Halle Jackson, Stephanie Ruhle, and Ali Velshi.
I enjoy Ruhle and Velshi, they have a good on-screen dynamic that seems more equal and respectful than the other male/female news shows out there. And I think Stephanie Ruhle is under appreciated as a journalist.

Yeah, in June? We're using youtubeTV now, and really like it. The only thing that's a problem is the early morning stuff.
NPR Up First while I'm in the shower, then Morning Edition while I'm driving to work. If the news is too rage-inducing, I call my sister (our morning drives generally coincide) and we discuss, what else, election stuff (she works in voter protection).
I can't watch news in the morning anymore because it stresses me out too much before driving. Instead I listen to a flash briefing of NPR, the Daily 202 from WaPo, BBC World News, local news, and Biden's Briefing via Alexa.
I will sometimes stream our local news station while I do my hair and makeup so I can hear the weather and traffic. If I'm working from home, I usually have the Today Show on but only pay half attention to it.
I follow NYT, Washington Post, and the Baltimore Sun on FB (in addition to Huffington Post, which I think only half counts) so I usually just read headlines there. We typically turn on CNN in the evening, but I can't do all news all the time.
I listen to NPR's Up First while I eat breakfast/check Internet stuff. And then I watch more news in the evening (local TV stations, etc). But on my morning commute to work, I need some music to wake me up.
In my time zone, Rachael Maddow is on streaming MSNBC starts just as I put my kids on the school bus. I watch her first, with a cup of coffee, before I do anything else. I hate Monday’s though, because my Monday morning is Sunday night in the US so she isn’t on.

I refuse to watch or listen to the news in the morning. I usually read and triage my work emails on my (train) commute every day, so that gives me a pretty decent snapshot of the morning news anyways, and I'm glued to news sites all day for work so watching in the morning I think would just push me right over the edge.
