DH and I are scheduled for a FET on 10/29. We did a retrieval last month and have 3 pgs tested embryos in the freezer. As the transfer gets closer, I’m getting very anxious about it. I started looking into endo scratches and asked my doctor about it this week. She is ok with doing a scratch but this will push my transfer back another month.
I’ve had two retrievals and two transfers so far (one fresh and one frozen). I had an ERA back in July which showed I needed another 24 hours of progesterone. I’m torn with what to do. I want to transfer sooner rather than later but also what to do whatever I can to increase my success. Would you wait to do the scratch or move forward with the earlier transfer?
With 3 PGS tested embryos and ERA results, I think I'd move forward with the earlier transfer and do a scratch if that one failed. You'll only transfer one, right?

I would do the transfer. The evidence on scratches is pretty mixed and the last major study showed no positive impact. To me it wouldn’t be worth delaying the cycle, especially when you have so many other pieces of evidence working in your favor that are much more effective (ERA, PGS, etc) If the transfer doesn’t work for some reason you can always assess doing it for peace of mind before your next cycle.
