Have any of my fellow stick cleanser people tried the julep one?

The pH is apparently iffy, but not terrible.  Right at 7.  I can live with that?  I think?  And it smells like grapefruit, which is up my alley.

Also we were traveling recently and while showering together MH grabbed my remaining beloved rose stick, and smeared it all over his stubbled face, using like 6x more than he needed since it was sticking in his scruff.  I was like, "DUDE.  THAT STUFF IS MORE VALUABLE THAN GOLD."  and he didn't even think I was nuts, he was just like, "oh, sorry, did the animal it's made out of go extinct or something?" and proceeded to rub his soapy cheek on my face to at least get two uses out of it.

I have perhaps broken my husband with the assorted snail and donkey milk and whatever else I've got going on in my cabinet right now.

Wait - Sum 37 doesn’t make the rose cleansing stick anymore?? Bummer!! I only use mine for travel so still have a lot left.

Yeah, I think both the Rose stick and the Belif chamomile stick disappeared in Feb-April-ish.  At one point, the Belif stick re-appeared on Amazon, and everyone raced to order it. But there was a mixup, and they sent me a Belif moisturizer that was labeled as a stick (everyone else received a stick), and there were no sticks left for me.

Belif removed it from their website so we assumed it was discontinued. I think Sum37 hasn't discontinued the rose stick, but just hasn't had any available for sale. I have no idea why and it is pissing me off. Belif could have been making bank selling the chamomile sticks to the rose lovers all this time.

I just went online to search to see if I could find any news about the cleaning stick crisis.

Belif has re-listed the chamomile stick on their website as a "new arrival." IT MIGHT BE COMING BACK.

It is not on Sephora's website. I'm scared to believe it is true, because I don't want to be disappointed again.

I messaged them on Facebook to ask, and they told this:

Unfortunately the factory which had been producing it discontinued production and we don't have plans to bring it back at the moment.


I bet it was made in the same factory as the rose stick, and that's why they are all gone.

I still have a ton of my Rose stick left. Using it only for travel I guess has paid off?

There have been a few at the grocery store I have seen, but am not sure about. I love the other though, I wish someone would pick it up and make it!
