Baby Weigh In

A had a weigh in today since she had only gained one pound from her 2 month appointment to her 4 month appointment. She was a big girl at birth, 8 pounds 9 ounces, and got down to 7 pounds 13 ounces in the hospital. But it took her a whole month to gain her birth weight back. She's just a slow gainer.

I had been EBF but the Dr was concerned since she went from like the 39th percentile (at 2 months) to the 7th (at 4 months). So she advised that I start her on cereal. So we stared on rice cereal and oatmeal and she LOVES the stuff!

Anyways, we had a weigh in today and she gained 2 pounds in a month! So she is now up to 13 pounds and 13 ounces (22nd percentile)! So proud of her!!!! Just wanted to brag on my girl.

Hooray for the weight gain! DD has always been a slow gainer, too. She was 12lb 6.5oz at 4 months. I'm thinking about starting her on oatmeal, soon.

C was 16.3 at 4m. I suspect he will be 20lb at 6m. Mind you he was 5.8 at birth. Oink.

Yay for weight gain! My kids are huge (90ish%), so I've always had the opposite concerns.

Took DD yesterday for a weight check (she is 5 months) and she is 12lbs 12oz!

Was 11lbs 7oz at 4 months.

That's great! My DD was 7 lb 6 oz at birth and was only 12 lbs at her 4 month so I've got a petite baby too.
