What do you use/pay for, if anything?

I have kindle unlimited (which more than pays for itself considering I burn through books). I recently, as in today, looked at Scribd for audiobooks/ebooks. Does anyone use that?

I just signed up for kindle unlimited. I'm curious to see how much use I get out of it, since I am so used to the library or buying the book I want. I think it may force me to read books that I wouldn't otherwise.

I do audible. I haven't taken the plunge yet with Kindle Unlimited. I'm not sure about the value. I don't think I completely understand Kindle Unlimited.

I think its basically just kind of like paying 10 dollars a month to join a library of sorts. So you download the books to your kindle but they aren't yours (it says you have them on loan but I'm not sure if there is a time limit on how long you can have one?) I just took a look through some of the available options and it really does have a wide selection but I'm not sure if they are just pushing the "good" ones to the front so it looks better than it is lol.

I did KU during the prime day deal. I'm going to extend it another month so I can download a bunch of books before our cruise. I'll see after that.

No time limit, but you can only have 10 "checked out" at a time.

I use Free Library of Philadelphia for ebooks and audio but some of those books have a pretty long wait.
